AP422W – Welcome to the site. I’ve been really lucky and haven’t had any side effects besides being really emotional, but I know some women do. It does work though – my sister was put on clomid as well and she now has 3 beautiful boys. Good luck to you!

Missymazz – I totally agree with you on fb group being private. I think the reason we all found this site was because we didn’t feel comfortable saying what we do to all of our friends and family. We will make sure it is completely private so we can all feel safe to still talk openly.
Bpink – I love the Forum Friends t_tle! Work has been hectic but I will try to play around with the fb group and test it out to make sure it is private.
Reese – I think it depends on how you feel. If you are at least 10 DPO you have a slight chance of an early pregnancy test showing a positive – if you can hold out longer that only increases your chances of it showing a bfp! Fingers crossed for you!

Tonight I created a secret group on fb called Forum Friends. The group is secret so it can not be found in a search, only group members can see posts, and only group members can see who is in the group. If you post on the group's page only group members will see the post in their newsfeed/timeline. No one else outside the group will be able to see it.
You have to be invited to join, so if you would like you can friend me on fb and then message me and I will add you, or if you want to join the group but do not want to post your name here I also created an email address to where you could email me your name and I can find you on fb that way to invite you to the group. The email is forumfriends2012 at gmail dot com
I don't mean this to replace this forum by any means. This is just an alternative place for us to all go if we would like. I know I will still be checking and posting on here as well as on fb. Baby dust to everyone!

Reese I am in the waiting game on my job too lol I am hoping that soon I will be out on a permanent vacation so I can concentrate on baby making! My job is very stressful I am in sales and sincerely I don't have the energy nor the desire to concentrate on numbers.
Manjit I have no idea what you could be going through right now, however a friend of mine went through that procedure in November and she did get her BFP in fact fist week of may she starts her second trimester. Maybe this is what will give you the beautiful Baby u always wanted!
Last week I read "Making Babies" by Sami A. David MD and it really help me understand more of my situation and what your doctor should be doing before recommending any treatment that seems too harsh on your body, they also wrote a holistic way of dealing with Fertility issues.
This Friday I'm supposed to do the HCG shot at 8pm so my Doctor told me to BD on Sunday morning, in my head I'm thinking is not worth it since DH sperm is not at the count it should be. He told me last night to go ahead and do it anyway because we only need one to stick, he is so sweet and I have to do it now I can't show him I don't have hope or faith. In any case next month will do IUI.

Jessica80- Your doc is right, it only takes one sperm to fertalize an egg, so if he has an aggressive swimmer you can get pregnant! Good luck!

Jessica1984- Good luck with your HSG- you will be in my prayers on the 24th for sure. I have heard several people say they got pregnant after having that test, almost as though it helps in some way. Fingers crossed for you.
Hopeful- I hope you enjoyed your date with the hubby. Sometimes that makes all the difference in the world just to have that time together.
AP422W- Welcome :) The side effects are different for everyone but the outcome will outweigh the side effects so don't let that be a deciding factor. Good luck with whatever you decide but either way you have found a great support group here.

Reese- Sorry for the BFN. It is still early so keep your chin up. I about just fell out of my seat laughing at you over the pictures of sleeping beauty!!!! LOL!
Manjit- I will be praying for you and I know the surgery won't be as bad as you may think. The first time I had it was part of untieing my tubes and the second time I had it doen when when I had an ectopic pregnancy. The good thing about it is they will know exactly what is and is not wrong. It becomes less of a guessing game at that point.
Bpink- that is great that you ovulated on your own. Being relaxed and happy has a lot to do with it I am sure. Congrats!
Gigi84- Well, you have covered your bases with BD'ing but with the sensations in your ovaries I would almost continue to test.

AFM- I am 7DPO and I feel pretty good. some small twinges and some tingling in the BB's but not much else. This BBT chart is killing me. I had a dip yesterday on 6DPO to 97.4 and then today it spiked to 97.9. I don't really know what to make of that. I would think it would be too early for implamentation dip???

Hello Newbies, this is a great forum, I read it for a bit before I joined as well. The women are really encouraging and it is nice to know you're not alone in the struggle to conceive.
Well, today is the BIG DAY....in a sense...I get to go see where my progesterone level is at (took the blood last Friday). FINGERS CROSSED IT IS EXISTING, since last time it was basically not there.
