Angie - I have read online that caffeine affects you once you are preg, you should have less than 150mg a day espicially in early preg - it has been found that excessive amounts of caffeine in early preg can lead to m/c. But I have also read that when trying to conceive you should also limit your intake. I dont remeber the reason why but I remember I limited mine and my DHs caffeine consumption when we were ttc- I am sure your 1 cup of coffee a day is fine.

Ladies, Thanks for the sharing. Really appreciate that. By the way, what is the indication if the follicle size decreased from 16mm to 10mm during ovulation period? What happen to the follicle once it has been successfully fertilized by sperm? Will the size decreased?

Good morning to all anige: i really cant answer ur question concerning the size of the follicle,however about caffine: caffine does not effect the female fertility dramticaly, however it does has an effect on the male fertility, which means if DH is heavy consumer of caffine, drinking, or smoking it is better for both of u for him to cut back. caffine lowers sperm count, and makes sperms wearker, but it has been proven that it makes sperms faster, but it won't help,b/c as i said sperms are weak. so try to limit caffine for DH,and i would a__sume for you as well a healty living form the start=to a healty preg=healty baby GL

Sam every other day is actually smarter for the sperm count even if he is normal it take a good 36-48 hours to build back up. CAFFEINE: I am about sure it is why I lost one of my pregnancies before 4 weeks it can cause implantation failure I do not recommend any caffeine after cd 10 and not until you are at least 5 weeks 1 can here and there no more trust me I have learned they say 120mg while pregnant I say no more than 60 at most a day. well guys, how are ye all today? Well today was the last day of the provera so will wait now to start first cycle on clomid! Lets hope it works?!

Ok i called my gyno today and told her that its cd35, and this month i didnt get a +opk or somehow missed it, she wants me to wait for AF, and she wants me to keep doing preg tests every otherday in the am, she said we have to wait for af to come or a +preg test, and when i get my af she has asked that i come in and she will do a v____al exam to see if everything is ok, and to make sure clomid isnt causing any hyper stimulation of the ovaires, something like that, i dont remember the exact term for it but i know i have read about it. and then from there she will up my dose to 100mg. so m praying that i get a +preg test or my af soon! and she said i should have been bedding every other day from cd9 on wards, i told her i was waiting for a +opk LOL she said thats a mistake everyone makes.... so pray for me girls! happy monday!

I do want to add one thing about caffeine it's bad for women when ttc and while pregnant however if you want a boy this is proven known truthfull study to back it up sperm are faster when men consume caffeine 35 min prior to bd either way you may still get a girl but it will give em a boost. Hope I got pregnant with my dd on cd 52 that is no misprint and had been doing hundreds no kidding of opk's I was obsessed with pregnancy I stopped testing after cd 40 and got bfp cd 64 just because I had yellow cm thats why I though I was pg and I got sick after drinking diet root beer. Well anyways you can get the provera and be cycle buddies cd 1 here I am taking 10 mg Femara tomorrow and 2.5 on cd 3 with clomid 100mg days 3-7 hope that gives me a boost I am being followed by a doc for all those reading this. I do not suggest u/p clomid just because it gave me a 6 cm cyst and nearly put me in the hospital from my ovary twisting keep that in mind I am not against those who do just looking out for ya. I suggest even if you have to switch Ob's and lie say you have been ttc for 18mos and you will get clomid it is 9 dollars so good luck to everyone just protect yourself.

thanks schar! good info, yes i am very nervous about increasing the dsg to 100mg, i hope i wont have too. but will wait and see. i think AF is going to show up this week. iv had a few cramps today.

hi ladies how are you all keeping. about the caffeine, i think it is rediculous, if you know how much caffeine i drank be4 i got pg this time, you would be shocked! i drank at least 2-3 cups of coffee each day, but now that i am pg, i can't tollerate anything, tea, coffee, coke, etc. however, i do believe it can influence the s_x of the baby. i also have to say that to much caffeine in pregnancy can cause m/c. however, having said that, i am sure 1 cup of coffee will not do any harm. as long as the coffee is not too strong. or you can go de-caf! that is a even healthier option, whether pg or not. about the cyst, i know schar you had one, but if doc prescribes it, i am sure that it is fine, i mean the clomid. i never had any side effects, and i took it u/p. however, it is never recommended to take any meds u/p, this is for the patients own good. well today is my first prenatal appointment, hoping all will go well! can't wait! hope, keeping fingers crossed for you that this month will bring good news for you! take care ladies,esme.

CD36 no sign of af. dont want to take a preg test, dont want to be dissapointed, havent had any symptoms.... i am going to wait till cd40 and then test. how is everyone doing? Linda, ashley, how are u guys?

Hope - I am praying for you to get your BFP this month! AFM I am doing good, a little worried about the lack of symtpms but I just keep telling myself that if something was wrong I would know. Even though it was just Friday that I saw my babies heartbeats I am so worried about everything! I think preg is going to be a beautiful thing but I just wish it was over so I could know everything is OK

Schar - I don't understand what you mean. I am on cd 3 today I am taking 2 2.5mg cd 3-7. I go in for an ultrasound on cd11 which is next tuesday. Fatz - hey girl how are you doing. I missed you!!!!! I have an ultrasound on next wednesday to see how i'm doing. And my dh and I have decided that my job has gotten to the point of too much stress on my mind and body and that i'm just going to do school and do a 2-day a week job.
