Had lots of creamy cm today and some pain... too early for o really, but am going to BD just in case. DH's uro put us on waiting for 6 months (ARE YOU SERIOUS?!?!) so that is what we are doing. DH and I talked a lot over Thanksgiving and decided we will give it until this summer and then try IUI, maybe one round of IVF. If that doesn't work, we are going to start to look into adoption next summer (Summer 10). Having a plan makes me feel better.... Tell me again the difference between IUI and IVF? Prices, what it means, what it is... etc. Hope you all had a good T-Day!

hi, everyone! im new in this site and im so happy to read all the stories behind taking clomid. Im 30 yrs.old and i'm diagnosed with PCOS, at first I undergone oral contraceptive to regulate my mens. I took the pills for 6 months with metformin. after that 6 months cycle, i tried to have my mens in a natural way, and luckyly i had my mens regular last Sept. (32 days cycle) but last October my OB adviced me to take duphaston to increase my progesterone level. On the 3rd week of December, or once my mens come out, i'll start Clomid (day2-6) and its my 1st time to take that fertility pills. Since my husband is also arriving on the 3rd wk of Decmber. So, Im hoping that by this fertility pills will me help to ovulate and be pregnant. Im asking for your prayers that I could be one of you who are successful in taking clomid and who are now pregnant and mother. thank you for reading my story and hope to hear from you too. Hi girls. Sorry been MIA but have been keeping up with you all. Just haven't had anything to report!! I am currently in the process of my 2nd IUI and it isn't going to plan - I had a scan last friday and I had 2 good sized follicles - had a scan yesterday - 1 has collapsed and the other has shrunk!!! Gotta have another scan tomorrow morning to check if they have grown - but I think we will be stopping this time and starting again early January!! So i'm feeling really down at the moment - i really thought it was gonna work this time. **Hoping** Sorry AF showed, but keep your chin up - us old timers (on this forum) will have our babies one day. **Fatz** great to hear from you - the same goes for you too - our time will come!! **Kimmers** How long left honey? **Donna** How are you and hows your dad doing? **to everyone I havent mentioned heres loads of babydust and sticky stuff** xxxxxxxxxx

Hey Ladies... How url doing?? Hoping thanks for the new thread.. Glad you have a plan of action... IUI can cost around R3000.00 to R4000.00, thats when they can use either injectibles or clomid femera etc to help produce more eggs.. But they take the sperm, have it washed and insert the sperm into the uterus once you ovulate.. IVF is the more costly one where everything is done outside the body... Invitro - meaning outside.. they retrieve the eggs and the sperm, combine them in a petri dish and wait for them to fertilize and transfer them after 3 or 5 days after retreival, depending on ur FS.. IVF cost about R30000 / 45000.00 *********CJ******* Glad u ok.. Yeah we have had a very long stay on the forum, i can remember its about a year now hey.. I so hope ur turn is soon.. Hi everyone. Well, I called and my results weren't great. Last month (before clomid) my progesterone level was .01 very very low After 1 rd of clomid, the results varified my fear. I didn't ovulate. My progesterone level was .05 this time. Not much of anything. :( I am hoping 100 mg will do the trick. Hoping, just what needed...more waiting. So sorry dear. 6 mo. is just crazy. ;( Things will be ok though, I just know it. Fatz, Krissy, Puns...hope you are all well. Linda..how were your levels? How is the pg going? Baby dust to everyone! Hi girls!! I have been popping in to scan over the thread occa__sionally but just haven't had the time to post. Allow me to give you an update. DH had the SA and suprisingly he came back with high numbers 79 million. Motility was borderline but not bad. I just haven't been on the ball about the whole baby thing. I don't even know what cd I am and to be honest I'm not really interested in BDing of late. Isn't that just sad but I have a lot on my mind. I don't know if I ever told anyone on here but I am also in nursing school and I haven't slowed down even with what happened to Dad. As far as my Dad he is doing better. Inch by Inch Day by Day it will be a very long process. He is in a very childlike state and is learning how to walk and use a wheelchair. He has bad days and good days. But both the bad and good days are getting better and better. Back to the baby front. I think I will use an opk soon and we'll see. I want to start getting healthy again and lose some weight and in January go back on the clomid. I have to get myself psyched up again. Well thats all for now. I will try to be on here more as I have missed you guys. Please everyone post back and let me know how you are.

Hi girls! Hoping, cj, fatz - thanks for asking about me. It will definitely be all of your turns soon :) Good luck with the IUI cj! Fatz - what are you doing now? And, are you trying IVF again? Hoping - fatz described the diff. between IUI and IVF well...the price really depends on your insurance...sometimes things are covered, but most of the time, they aren't. IUIs from what I've seen are about 1-2k, and IVF ranges from 8-10k and up. But, some or all of that could be covered by insurance... I'll be 34 weeks on Friday, I'm due on Jan. 16th. I can't believe that it's almost here! And, with the holidays Dec. will fly. I'm getting nervous, but I'm mostly just excited to meet me son :) I still feel pretty good too, so things are going well. I think Teddy may have had her little girl...she was overdue, but I haven't seen her on the third trimester thread in a few days...so, I'm a__suming. Welcome to newbies! This is a great thread - take care girls! :)

hi girls a little update i got a faint positive opk on 27th nov which was cd 10 and had lots of whitish super stretchy cm so i attacked hubby but is cd 10 too early for ovulation? its been 7 days now and im having period like cramps it seems as if af is about to start but im not due till 2 weeks maybe i pray that it is implantation pain i wish all of u lots of luck ,good health and baby dust just remember me in ur prayers

Hi ladies. **Nutty** Fingers crossed for you that it is implantation pain. **As for me** I had another scan today to check my folicles and they've shrunk again - so we have abandoned the IUI for this cycle. I start my scans again on 5th January - so fingers crossed it will work - Cheri did predict january and a boy!!!!! **Here's to lots of BFP's to see out 2008 and to bring in 2009 xxxxxxxxxxxx

Hello to all I have been posting on the old clomid success stories and thought that there werent as many posts on her so i would post on here to Im on Cd 19 I o'd on cd16 so im 3dpo im excited because even thought this is my first round of clomid 50mg days 5-9 i think we hit the day and Im hoping for a bfp and not an af because that would really suck. so anyways baby dust to you all hope you all have your prayers answered soon I know im praying that they are answered. April

so pretty much i have been on either clomid or my fsh injections for 20 days and last week i have a follie that was a 9 so this week we thought it would be at least 18 in order to ovulate....that was not the case. the follie disappeared and is gone and my estrogen level was a 69 and when you have a mature follicle it is at a 250 at least per follicle. so we are either going to double the dose next month or try to save up (its expensive!) and try again in a few months. so that is my update, i am really disappointed, who knew it was so hard just to ovulate.

hi, Ladies! im new in this site and im so happy to read all of your uniqe stories. Im 28 yrs.old and I got merried on May 24, 2008 and ended up finding out I am pregnant on June 8, 2008. I lost the baby at 13 1/2 weeks and ended up having D/C. I have been trying ever since and No luck. Last month, I took Chlomid 50 mg day 5-9. The ultrasound showed that I did not have big enough folicles. on Nov, he up my dosage to 150 mg days 3-7. The ultrasound showed that I had one 14 cm egg and two 15.5 cm. I could not recieve the Trigger shot becuse of the Thanks giving weekend. However, the doctor advised me to have s_x every otherday untill the middle of the following week. I took baby asprin and Musinex with chlomid. I feel tired and all I want to do is sleep allday. I am also craving red meet. My next cycle is 7 days away and I am realy ancious to find out if I am pregnant. I realy want twins, but I will be happy with just one. Any suggestions on when I can take the Home pregnancy test?

I am new to this group as well. I ovulate normally but am taking clomid because DH has his vasectomy reversed 8/1/08. His SA came back with healthy sperm last month, so I started 50 mg days 5-9 on 11/24/08. We bd just about every day anyway so no worries there. My predicted OV would have been 12/3/08, but based on my CM and the position of my cervix I think I ovulated a couple days early. I can usually feel ovulation and it felt like it. So now I'm in the 2ww. AF should come around 12/18/08 and that is still almost 2 wks away. But if I ovulated early would it come sooner?? Maybe someone could help me understand implantation cramping. I am 3DPO and have been experiencing small twinges of pain. I wonder if this might be implantation?? The pains are slight and crampy and they have been on both sides today. It shouldn't be ovulation pains because it feels different (more localized) and I have checked my cervix position (closed and high) and my CM and it was egg whitey about 4 or 5 days ago. What do you guys think?? Have you experienced any implantation pains??

hi elizabeth u have exactly the same dates as mine but i took clomid cd2-7 or maybe 1-5 coz i have spotting before and after period so im never quite sure when af starts and ends anyway im also having this pain which is more in lower pelvis and some twinges on both sides and im hoping that it is implantation ill do an ept on 10 coz ill be 14 days post ov i ov on cd 10 so lets keep in touch and see what happens lots a baby dust and good luck
