so confused85 - I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. What cd are you on?
Mari24 - Welcome to the thread. Are you paying for your treatments or will your insurance pay for it. Mines don't really pay for anything it will cover all my blood work at 100% just as long as I use the lab within my insurance group. It will let me do 3 IUI per life not real sure what that at 50% it is still expensive but the main thing it don't cover any type of injectalbe medicine. Good Luck to you. What cd are you on? Keep us posted.
dee-dee - How did your appointment go? I'm doing okay I am much better then from Monday after the appointment with the RE. Can't wait for the update on you.
MyLifeNotYours - Yes of course you can post your updated information so we can help you out as much as we can.
HoPe - This is wonderful news make sure you bd as soon as your dh gets home and if you can first thing in the morning before he has to go to work. Good Luck and keeping fingers cross. Krissy68

hey everyone!!!!!! Welcome all new comers glad to have everyone here.
Hope - Congradulations I am so happy for you
Krissy68 - what happened at your appointment on Monday hon?? Did everything go okay??
Well we went to see the high-rish doctor today, he ordered a 2 hour glucose test, a sickle cell anemia test (just to be on the safe side), and said that he doesn't see anything that will keep the RE from going ahead with IUI or IVF. So excited. He said that the sickle cell test will more than likely be fine and my dh said that it'll be okay because the baby will only be half sickle cell anemic anyway since dh is white anyway. We all laughed he is just silly. The high-risk said that if the sugar test comes back a little high that we'll be better able to handle it now rather than when i'm already pregant. So we see the RE on Monday the 9th at 12:30.... So Very Excited I can't wait..... Baby Dust to All.

dee-dee - This is wonderful news and I am so happy for you. As for me I am still at the starting gate. They wanted me to do the IVF because of my age and left tube blocked but I don't have that type of money laying around so I am going to try to do a IUI. Right now I am trying to get the money together for pay for my copay to have the laproscopy and hysteroscopy and after that the doctor can really tell me what is going on with my body. I don't really like what they have done to this website I can't find all the forums I use to go to. Talk to you soon. Krissy68

Krissy68 - I know what you mean it took me forever to get the new address for all my forums that I read and comment on. I know what you mean on the money issue too because it was not for my husband's insurance covering everything for the IUI and only 3 IVF in my life time (that is such a wierd phrase for them to use) then my dh said that we would just be without a kid and just be happy helping raise the rest of my families kids (heck i been doing that since I was in middle school it's time for my own).... I keep you in my prayers always and forever .... hey where do you live at girl?

Hi ladies how's everybody doing? I know I am exhausted! I went to the doctors on March 4th for my u/s and the nurse could only see one mature follicle on the right. She couldn't find my ovary on the left side because she said my uterus is tilted and my ovaries are far up high. But I'm so happy she found a good one!!! My blood work was perfect she said, my estrogen was 637 and I took my trigger shot the next night (Thursday March 5). We BD'd Friday and Saturday AM...I could feel I was ovulating Friday (mild pain/discomfort in my ovaries) and the BD'ing was so stressful! It's different when you are aware you only have that small window to BD and that your not just BDing for fun. It was A LOT of pressure for my husband, well for both of us really, but we made it! lol I really hope this is it for us. The clomid (100mg) gave me really strange dreams and I would turn up crying for no reason. And the bloating feeling was really really bad! The things we do for our kids! Thankfully my husbands insurance is paying for everything (in case we have to do it again next month). So I start my suppositories tomorrow and we play the waiting game till I can test on the 20th. I'm praying for everybody and hoping that we all have big beautiful babies soon! *BABY DUST* to everyone!!!

I am new to this board, but I do post on another on this website
Mari24 - You have kind of answered my question from the other board. On Friday I had BW done and my Dr called me on Saturday morning and told me my estrogen levels were high and so I had my HCG shot on Saturday morning. I was wondering what the high levels of estrogen ment, I know my Dr wanted it to be over 500, so I was so excited that it exceeded his expectations, I forgot to ask him about it!

Hi Ashley2121 welcome to the board. I'm glad I was able to help out. I'm new here too. I'm on my first round of clomid. I'm sending lots of baby dust your way and look forward to writing about my progress and hearing about yours and everyone's. I'm putting a lot of faith in this treatment as we've been ttc for a year now. It was after two of my girlfriends who both had sets of fraternal twins told me that it was the clomid helping them conceive that I started to read up on it and decided to give it a try. I'm hoping to have one at a time but if I had two (with a healthy pregnancy like they did) that would be fantastic! I hope everyone has a great day today!

Hi Krissy68!
I'm doing great! I am taking prescribed clomid. I was in health care and know the consequences of taking un-prescribed medication. I hope anyone reading these boards will think twice before doing that (even though it's easy to obtain the un-prescribed stuff) it's just as easy to go to an MD and get this treatment with the proper medical care and guidance. I used to live in Canada and was extremely surprised how easy it was to get in to see a fertility specialist and how inexpensive it all was. We just finished the "BD'ing" stage. So begins the waiting game (ugh) till we can test or I get my next period (which ever comes first) I'm excited and optimistic and wish time would go by faster!

I'm not trying to preach. We all have the freedom to choose whatever we want to do. I'm just saying be cautious and why take a risk if you don't have to. Also I've been thinking, the nurse only saw one mature follicle on my right side...I wonder if there were any on my left. She couldn't tell cause she couldn't find my left ovary. Both sides did hurt after my trigger shot...

Krissy68 - Good luck on the wait ... what about the surgery have we sceduled it yet? I've got everything crossed for you girl.
Jessi01 - How are you doing hon i haven't see you on in a while.
Sorry I'm just now posting but it's been a mad house around here. I'm putting in applications for jobs, we have to go out of town on the 11th (which I should be sleeping right now)b/c of some drama in dh's family, and trying to get back on my doctor's case.
The RE on Monday said that he will take me off the Provera on the 23rd IF he can get the detailed report from the cardio doc to check over and make sure that the RE doesn't want to do a heart ultrasound (he thought the cardio would do it but he didn't and at this point there's not much he is doing which is stressing me even more). But the great news is that he said that we will try 3 to 4 IUI's before moving to the IVF and that he wants to put on Letrozole(femara) instead of the clomid, he's going to monitor me with ultrasound, and we are going to do the Trigger shot. I AM SO HAPPY... This has got to work I am so ready. lol
Welcome newbie's and lots of baby dust and sticky dust to you all.
