I have also read that clearblue is bad for women using clomid - I just read this online, I dont have any experience with it. So it could be true or not...... Esme - Good luck at your scan today! Welcome to all the newbies!! Baby dust to all!! :)

KrysTTC - May 12

Thanks for the answers! Yeah I checked around and read it's not accurate for those with pcos and those using clomid so it'd make no sense for me to buy a expensive piece like that if it wasn't accurate!!

i use the clear blue monitor and its working for me, i have also compared it to other testers to make sure it is accurate coz at first i wasnt sure as well. and so far it has been working great. i love it!

refresher: i am 23, started taking clomid in feb, 50 mg, 2nd cycle also 50mg 5-9, this is the 3rd cycle on 100mg, the first cycle on clomid i O'd but didnt bed, coz i misunderstood the O, thinking when O said Peak it meant i ovulated, but what it meant was i am suppose to O. lol. so 2nd cycle i didnt O, or O;d really late and stopped testing, 3rd cycle which i am on cd 12 today, i have been getting two bars, (high fertility not peak) so just to be sure i am bding everyother day so we dont miss it. Tomorrow i am seeing a RE for the first time, appointment is at 1:00, to those who have been to the RE, what should i expect on the 1st appt? do they do any tests?

hi ladies how are you all. well scan went wel yesterday, although they put me back 2 weeks :( i am now due on the 31st december, but we did see the heartbeat! unlike my dreams we are having 1 healthy baby, but still delighted, that all is going well. they normally schedule c-sections at 39 weeks so will be having my baby on christmas day! (1 week before my duedate) so ladies, good luck to you all, baby dust+++++++++

Esmeralda~ I was due with my daughter on 12/25 too! After my us they put my dates back to 12/31. So either way it was a holiday. Turns out she was born thanksgiving weekend 4.5 weeks earlier! My water broke, and I never dilated so they had to do an emerrgency c-section cuz I weent 3 days with broken water without even knowing! I didn't have a gush like some people just very little leakage that was really unoticable. So just a fair warning pack your bags early! Good thing I had mine packed a week before! AFM: I am CD 12, hoping ot O soon. Oh time is going by soooooo slow! I am counting down the days till I can test for pregnancy. Everyone I know is preggo so hopefully it will be contagious. I am taking mucinex, aspirin 81 mg, vanilla prenatal vitamins, using preseed and instead cups, using ANSWER opks as I ordered my clear blue monitor too late! Severe weather comming through tonight in the northeast, everyone be careful and stay safe!!!! Samantha

KrysTTC - May 13

CD22 here. Husband is coming back again from being on the submarine tomorrow which is awesome!! I'm pretty sure I o'd around CD 18th/19th as the tests were showing light lines then the 18th I had one just as dark. And I showed CM signs during that period of time. Even though we only got to BD on CD 16 last I still want to remain hopeful :( May 25th will be my test date since that'll make CD 35 than I need to start provera. I wish everyone the best!! Schar I wish you the best of luck as well as the rest!! I wish I started TTC #2 soon after my first instead of waiting so many years to come up with the same issues as the first.

went to the RE today :-D he was great, so we did a conult and then he did an ultrasound, i told him i an using the clearblue digital monitor thing and it said high fertility but not peak, its cd13 today, so he an ultra sound, he said well the opk was right, there is a follicle on the right side, the size is 25.00, 21.37, mean=23.18, i am looking at my chat online lol, and he said looks like i will O by friday, it is soooo great to know that, and he said if i dont, he wants me to come in on friday and he will do the hcg shot :-D but lets hope i o, wih out it, oh and my lineing wasnt too good, he said its alright but needs to be thicker it was 6.69... i havent searched anyting yet, i wanted to tell you guys first, i know yall know more about the follicles and lining and all. :-) oh and he said if this month i dont get prego he doesnt want me to take clomid, he mentioned another name, i think it started with a H, m not sure... but anyways, what do u guys think????

schar - May 14

Hope I suggest to bd starting now step away from the computer and tackle your hubby lol. I will tell you what I did no kidding I have posted this before but after you bd preferably before bed prop your bottom BD then go to sleep. I read somewhere staying in the same position for at least an hour will give the sperm a better chance. I stay for a few hours then get up. KRYS- you have a good chance still female sperm can live upto 7days males about 48hours WELL- I still have EWCM like day 3 and I am gonna take an opk at 8am and really hope it is positive so I don't have to use my shot I am sooooo exited think this can be my month and my left ovary is cramping.

Ashley2121 - May 14

Hope- thats so great your appt went so well! Sounds like he is getting agressive right off the bat! I agree with schar, tackle your hubby and get to BDing :) I also agree with proping your b___t up with a pillow (thats what I did), although I didnt always go to sleep after, I just usally stayed like that for about 10 minutes. AFM I had quite the night last night. When I was about 7 weeks pregnant I had a light brown discharge that I freaked out over and ran to my drs. He said light brown/brown is fine, its just old blood and with twins its to be expected. He said to only worry if it was pink or red. Well yesterday when I wiped there was some red. So I went to the ER where I sat for 7 HOURS!!! I had blood work done, a pelvic exam (my cervix is completely closed) and a u/s that lasted an hour. BOth babies are fine thank god! The u/s machine at the hospital is SO much better than the one at the drs office, its unbeliveable. Baby A is measuring 12w2d and Baby B is a bit smaller measuring 11w4d (which is what I am, so he/she is right on schedule). Their heartbeats were both around 157bpm. They said everything was fine but to follow up with my dr today so I will see what he says. At the hospital they called it a "threatned miscarriage" which means TAKE IT EASY!! So I am taking today and tomorrow off work and not moving my b___t from the couch (except to go to the drs). This is so stressful - I almost cant wait until its over and just give birth aldready. Enough about me, hope everyone else is doing good. Baby dust to all!! :)

Tryingfor#3 - May 14

Hi everyone I am new to clomid and on cd8 Ive been reading a lot of post and a lot of people have been talking about going to the doctor and having blood work done and U/S my doctor is not doing any of this. she said to start at 50mg and if it doesnt work this time call her and she will up it. She already wrote the RX out so that I have that incase it doesnt take. Any thoughts?

donnams83 - May 14

Hi ladies.. ESMER-CONRGATS I am so happy for you...new years baby huh!! And hey one is better than none right.. SCHAR-the last time I was on here you had disappeared so I am glad to see you're back and doing well. Today is finally CD 1...YAY! I start back on the clomid this time around. I'm doing 50mg days 3-7...Last night was a horrible night. I mentioned to fatz on here that my cousin/psuedo sister is pregnant well she was just shy of 5 months and last night she went into preterm labor...it came on too quick and she delivered the baby so the little guy didn't make it. I saw the baby and it was the most heart breaking thing...words cannot express the sadness that pa__ses through you and I can't even imagine how she's trying to cope. I definitely realized there are worse things than not being able to have a child... She has two beautiful daughters though...aged 4 and 8. Well I am trying to get motivated again to start temping something I haven't done in months...I wish you all luck and baby dust to all!!
