I 27 and I am 5 weeks pregnant (yippee), I had quite early pregnancy symptoms sickness, tender brests tireness etc and I seem to to have put on 3-4lb in weight over the past few weeks even though my diet hasnt changed. I have been on Clomid for two months my Dr told me I have 1 in 10 chance of having a multiple birth. Can anyone in the same position as me tell me about thier pregnancy. I am so excited but very afriad incase i miscarry after al this time. I am also experiecning stabing pains and a dull pain on an off in my abdomin is this normal?

I had clomid four years ago and then went onto daily injections where the risk of multiple bith was even higher but I had just one baby.I have four years later just started my first cycle of clomid again, don't worry I had a perfectly normal birth with my son at age 29 although he was only 6lb.

I too was on clomid for almost 5-6 months. I am 7 weeks pregnant right now with triplets. Though the Dr. said that it is too early to say anything for sure right now. I have another ultra sound in the 8th week and will hopefully get a clearer picture then.

I was on my first month of clomid last month, may and felt really good. We have been trying to get pregnant for almost 3 years this fall and decided we need help other than time taking its course. We are very hopeful that it would work very soon. it's great to hear that other people tried for a couple of months and are pregnant. goodluck to both of us.

I am 21 and was also on Clomid for 2 months and I am now 5 weeks pregnant. I too have stabbing and dull pains in my abdomen. I think that is is just our abdomins stretching and making room for baby. As long as you are not having pain and bleeding then you should be fine. Good Luck!

I am 23 and 5 weeks pregnant after using clomid for two months. I have same symptoms as you have. I am worried about miscarriage and multiple births etc. I think these cramps are normal (thats what my doctor told me)

Hi, I am only guessing I'm 5 weeks pregnant. Had Period 12 April. Took clomid days 2-6. Cycle normally 43 days. Took test on day 43 and Neg. Took test again on day 47, 27/05/04 and very strong pos. Went to Doc for u/s but no sac. But HCG 1,298 and three days later 4,218. Scan Week later Gestasional Sac but no Yolk sac or baby. Going again on 22 June and Doc said I should see more. Maybe Heartbeat!I am so happy but miscarried at Holleween and I too am worried it will happen again. Pains like mentioned but no sickness just sore b___sts and very tired. Can't wait for scan.Glad to know other's feel the same.

I am 28 years old. I was on clomid for 7 months and finally became pregnant with clomid, pregnyl and an IUI. I am 18 weeks pregnant today with a girl :) I started having a lot of pain in my abdomen at around 5-6 weeks and it turned out to be cysts on my ovaries caused from over-stimulation, but they have now almost completely gone away on their own. Hope this helps.

Fiona, congradualations!!! I have also been taking clomid (4 months total) and I just found out I am 51/2 weeks pregnant. I also have been having these abdominal pains you were describing. I asked my doctor and he said that they could be growing pains or Pains from your body adjusting to not having a menstral cycle (cramping as if your were having a cycle). I don't think you have anything to worry about unless you discover spotting or heavy (grayish) discharge. I wish you the best of luck with your pregnancy and congradulations again!

Hi, I am 6 weeks pregnant after 2 rounds of clomid, 4 days ago I started spotting and it hasn't stopped. I have no cramping and I still have all the symptoms. I am going for an ultrasound in 2 days. I am so scared, I have heard this is normal, but I am fearing the worst. Has anyone been in my position?

Daphne - July 20

I have also been on Clomid for 2 months, I am 6 weeks pregnant today after 2 years of trying! My Dr. told me there is a 15% chance of twins and a 5% chance of more. I am also experiencing stabing and dull pains and I have been told it is normal. I had a miscarriage 2 years ago and had not one cramp or pain at all. I didn't know until old blood started. So don't worry yet.

amanda - July 20

well this morning I woke up to heavy bleeding and some clotting, I am amusming the worst. I am still going to go for the ultrasound tomorrow, and I will continue to hope its ok.

Charlene - July 20

I also conceived on Clomid. I am now currently 18 weeks. I can remeber experiencing dull aches in my abdomen as well. Its probably just everything stretching. Try and relax, but I know how you feel I was extemely nervous and still is! Good luck
