Pregnant Through Clomid

Here's a stupid question. Does anyone know anyone on this site that actually got pregnant with twins on u/p clomid? I've looked and I can't seem to find any info. on that. I'm torn between that and trying vitex since I don't want any multiples more than twins. Triplets and more scare the heck out of me!

Just gor my results neg. Just thought I would let you know the first month for me failed.

I stumbled on this site looking at info about Clomid, and I had to comment after reading Sara's post about being jealous when she hears someone else is PG. I feel like I am the only one that feels that way. My husband and I have been trying for a year and a half with no luck. I am on my 3rd cycle of Clomid right now. We did insemination with my first Clomid cycle and are going to try it again next week. I just tell everyone that I am not sure if I want to have kids, because I don't want any pity if it never happens.

Megan, I had an HSG (the tube flushing/checking procedure) done in the middle of October. There was some minor blockage that the procedure itself cleared. Other than that, my tubes look good. Thanks for the info on the specialist. It looks like I'm heading that way. Like you said...worth it for a baby!

Sara - December 8

Ann, that is exactly what I tell people except for I have one son. I am an only child and I tell everyone how much I loved it (which I did) and that I want that for my son. I really want another baby or two. If my husband read that he would flip. He only wants one more but I do not know if it is because I want to be pregnant so bad or if I really do want a litter. Anything at this point. I felt like I was completely alone at this until I stumbled on this site. Hang in there Ann it will work. What did you doc. say? E-mail me if you want sesopko@hotmail.com.

Thanks, Sara. I have been through all the tests for ovulating (I am), tubes blocked (mine are not), and to check the eggs (they are fine). I had a polyp, so I had surgery and they also shaved fibroids down. On my post-surgery check for that surgery, they saw something on my ovary and thought it might just be blood and thought it would go away after a cycle. After a couple months of it not going away, I had another surgery and had endo removed from several places. After that, my dr put me on clomid in hopes of getting pg sooner (before endo returns and I get any older (am 36)). I took my last clomid today and I will start my follicular checks on Monday. I hope it works this time, but I am starting to get pessimistic and I wonder if I am not "supposed" to have any kids of my own...I do have one stepson and he is great. What does the dr say for you, since you have been pg before??

Ann - December 8

I have seen the posts about taking a blood test at the dr before the hpt works. How soon can the dr tell? I am a compulsive test taker as well, and it seems like the 2 weeks of waiting will never pa__s!

Sara - December 8

Ann, First you can take a blood test a week before your period. I also wanted to tell you that I am adopted and if it does not work naturally have you ever considered that? I have the most wonderful parents. (my Dad died 2 years ago though.) I really love the fact that I am adopted I think it is sort of neat and special. Me and my mom are absolutly best friends too. She had blocked tubes and could not have children. I hope you get pg I just wanted to tell you how wonderful adoption is too. You will be a mother anyway if you want it bad enough. Baby dust to you and all.

Ann - December 8

No, I don't plan to go the adoption route if things don't work out for me. I will take it as a sign that I am not supposed to have any kids. I do agree that adoption is a great thing, though. Also, I still have my stepson and we are very close. Reading this post really made me feel better. It was so exciting when Talia got her results back and so disappointing for you and jacksonkate this month. I am just glad to know there are others on this roller coaster, because I don't know anyone that is in my own life. I don't even feel like I can share what I am going through with any of my close friends. Maybe it is wrong to feel this way, but it is sort of embara__sing. I only talk to my husband about it (my mom is deceased).

Sara - December 8

Ann, I understand the adoption thing. I also understand what u mean about being embarressed. I feel like less of a woman and that everyone else is bragging about how fertile they are. I know that that is not true they don't even know we are tring. Here is a perfect example. Yesterday I was talking on the phone to my neighbor who has three kids when the doc office beeped through. I put her on hold and answered and the nurse told me the test was neg. I clicked back over and she was yelling at her kids and she says to me just keep one don't have anymore kids they are crazy. I wanted to yell at her and hang up. What bad timing but she had not idea so I can not say anything. Also my doc office said that there is a chance when you take a blood test a week early the it could be a false neg. He said that if I have not started by Monday then he wants me to retest.

Ann - December 8

Sara, that is great that you may still have a chance this month! I totally relate to the fertility stories. It seems like everyone I find out is pregnant had it "happen the first time they tried" or they "weren't really trying." I do wonder if it is true, though. That was really bad timing with your neighbor...I am sure it was upsetting for you.

Sara - December 8

Ann, Did your say that your husband should be tested? I am wondering if it is him and not me because I did get pregnant so fast the first time against all odds of the y birth control pills.

Ann - December 8

Yes, my doc had him get tested first. She said that test is the easiest, so she has the men get their count done before doing any of the women's tests. You should definitely have him get tested for peace of mind!

I am 30 years old. I am on clomid for 2 months. My M.C(Periods) were due on 12/7/05. I did pg test on 12/7 morning but it came out negative. i hvn't got my periods yet. Is it possible that i am pregnant? I am feeling tired but no other symptoms. Please let me know.
