Sara, can you get pregnant if you haven't Ovulated? I have no clue. I took a pg test 2 days ago and it was still negative. I still believe it didn't work last month, so here is to this one and the next. Take care everyone......

Hey all! Hope everyone is well..I'm just waiting this is my 2nd round on Clomid..........having some "cramps"...but from what I understand it's normal.

Sara...This is actually my second pregnancy. I have a 2 year old little girl...that was conceived without any meds. Went to the doctor today and verified the 8-12 due date...u/s will probably be at the first of January. It seems like I am having alot more pregnancy symptoms this time around...does anyone know if taking clomid has anything to do with it???

Hey everyone! I am getting ready to start my first round of clomid in a couple of days. Me and my husband have been trying for 5 months with no luck..come to find out i wasnt ovulating! Does anyone have any suggestions? I ordered some Pre-seed the sperm friendly lube...should i still take cough syrup too? is it best to take the clomid in the morning or night?? thanks!!!

Hello everyone. I went to the doctor yesterday b/c I had some spotting. He went ahead and did my u/s and the baby was in there. His/her heart was beating 119 bmp. It was AMAZING to hear that when they baby is so small. He said I have a threatened miscarriage b/c of the bleeding but the chances of the happening with a strong heartbeat go from 15% to 2%. Im thrilled.

Hi all, Trena Congrats on your pregnancy. I also have a 2 year old daughter whom we conceived with no meds and I am a little over six weex pregnant now (1st round clomid) so my due date for the second is also around yours. Melissa, I've read that the sperm friendly lubes will not harm sperm but will not improve you CM either to help motility of sperm. Some claim that the cough syrup helps improve the quality of the CM by loosening it if it becomes dry and unfriendly. I don't know how accurate this information is but I did take the robitussin with the clomid and got pregnant the first month. Keep in mind though that clomid affects the quality of CM in only about 20% of women. Also if you decide to take the cough syrup, they say to make sure it only contains Guaifenesin and nothing else that could harm the foetus. Hope this info helps. Baby dust to all!

Monica...That's GREAT!!! We will have to keep in touch along the way to compare everything. :) :) :) Do you plan on finding out what you are having this time? I think we are going to wait until the birth. We are very excited...we have been trying for number 2 for about a year. My cycles got messed up after giving birth the first time.

Well Trena, although I like surprises, I'm way too curious not to find out the s_x. We did find out for my daughter and we were calling her by her name, Chiara, from when I was 4 months pregnant. I am going for my first ultrasound this thursday. We're very excited as well. My mind will be much more at ease once I hear that heartbeat. As Talia said it's just such an AMAZING sound...I'm praying that everything is on the right track...

How come you guys get so many u/s? I get one when I am 20 weeks. My doc. says that more is pointless and raises concerns that usually work themselves out. He says it can be too stressful for the expecting mother but I want more u/s. Did you guys say anything or have any problems that is causing you to get so many. I am wondering what I need to say to get one soon. I am not due until 8-21-05

ho about the ultrasound question I think al least here in Canada you get two ultrasounds you are suppose to have one at 20 weeks and another one later on but you can have more depedning on your past history my uterus was measuring large at like 8 weeks so I had on at 12 weeks to prove I wasnt having twins

hi jacksonkate I ovulated this month but no luck my cycle started this morning. My doctor changed my Metformin 500mg once a day to Metformin XR twice daily. I am not sure the difference except that it is extended release, maybe he thinks this will help. I had a 31 day cycle which is good for me. best of luck to you and lots of prayers and baby dust.

Im only 6 weeks and have had 2 ultrasounds b/c I have history of miscarriage. it all depends on your doctors preference.

hi laura , my docto is increasing my dose to 150 mg also .when will u take 3-5 day of cyce or 5-7 day of ur cycle... Please do tell me the benefts of gree tea i will bring that too we r ttc 9 mths but no luck ,3rd round of clomid

My OBGYN has his own little ultrasound machine in his office in the room where he does the check ups so you can have as many as you want. I had one every month when I was pregnant with my daughter just to see how she was growing and I really liked that.

All I know is they told me it would increase your chances of conceiving as well as Vitamin B6. I take Clomid 150mg on days 3-7. I take 100mg of B6 nd Metformin XR 500mg twice daily. They just changed it to the XR.
