Pregnant With Twins And Severe Asthma

i was recently released from the hospital after a 7 day stay for asthma. i am 20 weeks pregnant with twins. i was wondering could i take a flight to las vegas when im 23 weeks oram i considered high risk??????? just wanted to know before my ob appoint.

That's definitely a question for your doctor. There are lots of things to consider besides the flight. If you take the trip you may need to restrict your activities quite a bit because of the heat, also walking around will probably be more difficult for you. I would discuss the trip with your OB and have her tell you what you can/can't do while on the trip.

I know that I was considered high risk when I was expectin my twins. I am also asthmatic. However I flew From Vancouver to Ottawa at 24wks. It all depends on what your doctor says. Be totally honest with him/her about all you travel plans. Good luck & if you are able to go...Have fun!
