If twins are in my husbands family, but not mine... is it possible for me to still have them

From what I have been told, identical twinning is random and can happen to anyone, however, fraternal twins can run in the family. I believe it is limited to the mother's side though, so your husband's family history wouldn't contribute. Regardless of family history, it IS statistically possible for any woman to end up with twins.
