Mine was only visible when I wiped. It was a light pinkish/brownish color. And then the next day, it was gone. That's when I suspected that I was pregnant, because that never happened to me before.

Is implantation bleeding always brown or can it be red spotting?

Hi wantstwins, Both times I had implantation bleeding it was red, not brown.

Help!! Okay so I have been trying to get prego for six months now, and each month disappointment in the bathroom. I thought it was possible that I was really prego this month. I was supposed to get a visit from AF Monday the 26th, but I Got what i think was AF on Sunday the 25th morning. But it only showed up when I wipped and it was a brownish pink. Later that night I decided to put a tampon in but when i removed it the next morning it was barley used and it was dark brown and pink. Now it is Wednesday the 28th and I am done. No signs of AF at all. Could this be implantation bleeding?????? I am so confused!!

Hi Mrs.Colclasure, I know what your going through, I am ttc as well, and it is such a disapointment when the result is -. But this time it sure sounds like it could be implantation bleeding! You should get yourself an hpt and see what it says. Please keep us posted, it is so much more helpful if people post the complete story.

hi everyone,im new to this, its been 12 months since ttc, and this is my 2nd month on clomid, im very irregular so i have no idea when i ovulated, my temperatures too confuses me, my last cycle was 55 days long and this one started on jan 16th, i started spotting on feb 25th evening( egg white with bright red strings) and the next day(26th) it was like light brown mucous, 27th dark brown, 28th again light brown, all these days nothing on the panty(only on tp) but today morning i started bleeding but still very light. i spotted last month as well(3 days) but i had to use a pad for that but this time its something different, never b4 in my life i had spotted b4 my period, not quite sure about the symptoms, i have heartburn after the dinner and feel faintish in the morings(just today and yesterday even when im seated). i cant spend much in the tests but i have to start taking clomid on the 2nd heavy day of my period, so will wait till tonight and will take an hpt tomorrow morning if its heavy flow. any suggestions?

I am always regular and thi month starting with some brownish spotting 4 days earlier than when i was due. It stayed light the hext day, the went away for a few days and now is back redish. is this ib? or just AF?

Help! My fiance and I have been having s_x, roughly we've done it about three times in the past two days (we're not gonna see each other for a while) and now I'm bleeding! We didn't use a condom, but I am on birth control so we hardly ever do. (No chastising ladies, I know my error) Could it be implantation? Or just over stimulation? Or (i don't want to imagine) Miscarriage...?

i thought if i get my period properly today i would test an hpt and then continue with clomid tomorrow but its still very very light (just a drop or two), so im gonna wait till it stops or become heavy. by the way could IB occur for so long and is there any chance that i could be pregnant?

divine, my first experience with IB lasted for at least a week, and I thought it was my AF. He is now 2 1/2 years old. So the answer to your questions is; it does sound like it could be IB and you could possibly be pregnant. Good luck! Please let us know the outcome.

thanks tonjak65 for ur kind reply, yesterday it turned out to be like red liquid kind of, so i thought af was going to come but today again it has become brown, i guess something is wrong with my body, i have planned to test coming thursday and will let you guys know.

got my AF and the hpt test was -, so my period had started after 9 days of spotting, weird cycle!!!

I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one with funky periods. My last period came as scheduled but it was super light. All I used was a panty liner for 2 days. My husband and I are ttc, and have been since september (I did have an ectopoic pregnancy in november). Since coming off of the pill my periods have been lighter, but 2 days of spotting just seems too light. Does anyone know if light periods will slow down the ttc process? Or does it matter how heavy they are as long as you have them?

My fiance and I have been trying to conceive for 13 months now...to no avail. My cycles run from 28-33 days. This month my cycle was very strange. My last period was lighter than normal...usually they last 5-7 days and are very heavy and crampy. The last one lasted 2 1/2 days and I maybe felt the slightest cramps on day one. Didn't even need Motrin. In fact I only really "bled" for one day and then spotted for 2. This time I felt PMS starting up almost immediately after ovulation and it has continued since. I am now on cycle day 28 and have been lightly spotting pink and brown for a full 5 days straight. I have had the feeling of impending menstruation for longer than that...a full 7 days. In fact 7 days ago I said "My period is going to start any minute". I'll feel some light cramps that feel like the start of my period, release a spot or two of blood and then nothing. I have taken like 5 hpt's. 3 were - and 2 had light positives that showed up a little after the time limit (blue and pink...not evap lines). I have suspected early misscarriages a few times during the last 13 months because I have had those very faint positives before and then an especially heavy period. Anyway, I have pregnancy symptoms now...morning sickness (gagging when brushing my teeth and sometimes just gagging or throwing up for no reason), b___st tenderness, bloating and fatigue...all of which I get to a minor degree before my period. This time it's all more pronounced. So confused! Sorry this is so long. Thank you,

Hi girls! I'm all messed up here too. Today I had some bright red spotting w/ teeny tiny little blood clots. AF is irregular but just visited about 3 wks ago with extreme cramps and even worse lower back pain. Bleeding also severe with a few huge clots but not prolonged. All of this was highly abnormal for me. And no...never sought med attention. I know. Anyways, has anyone ever experienced this type of spotting and been pregs?
