Hi girls! I'm all messed up here too. Today I had some bright red spotting w/ teeny tiny little blood clots. AF is irregular but just visited about 3 wks ago with extreme cramps and even worse lower back pain. Bleeding also severe with a few huge clots but not prolonged. All of this was highly abnormal for me. And no...never sought med attention. I know. Anyways, has anyone ever experienced this type of spotting and been pregs?

has anyone eles had this??? i had a period feb 7th after comeing off the pill, i have been haveing nausea, light head where i think im going to faint, sore b___st, mild cramps last week and no period on the 7th narch, but woke this morning with what looks like a period but its bright red but not heavy at all like my periods should be, could this be implantation bleed, i did a test 3 days ago it was neg, or just put it down to a period, thanks for replys

Hi, today would make 16 days late. My finance' and I have been trying to become pregnant. I have all the pregnancy symptoms but this morning I had light bleeding. It was pink and just on the toilet paper. Afterwards we had s_x and now I'm bleeding fairly heavy, bright red and clotting. Is it possible that IB can be heavy and clotting for one day or should this be my period. I'd be crushed, we've been trying for so long. Thanks!

Hi everyone. Im totally stressing out. me and my dh have been ttc for the past 6 months. I am on clomid for 2 months now (and my dr. said i had a great month) me and my hubby had s_x at all the right times. I really felt like this month was the month. I normally get my period anywhere btween 28-32 days . today is day 26 and im spotting . It started off yesterday as a brownish color. Now its red but REALLY light . my first day is usually my heaviest .. Im so sad but sould this be implantation bleeding . i have really bad cramps all so but I always get bad cramps. im hoping its implantation bleeding . I also got a HCG injection to inducew ovulation so i wsant suppose to take a test but i did and it was negative so i really discouraged. I put in a tampon and there was like nothing on it after an hour.. who knows ..im just sad now .. baby dust to you all .......

I posted a few days ago. Unfortunately I found out that I wasn't pregnant. We're still trying though. What I thought was implantation bleeding was apparently just a light period that lasted 2 days. I've taken so many tests that I'm to the point where I refuse to take another one. I just get so heartbroken. Everyone keep your heads up. :)

Finny123 don't give up hope yet, it may just be to soon to register on a test. Give it maybe even a week and test again. emmyhale I am sorry you did not get the results you were hoping for. I know all too well about the heartbreak of yet another negative test again. Keep your spirits up I am sure it will happen soon!

hello ladies. am I glad I found you! I have been going nuts all day. I could have sworn I was pregnant, my b___bs are so sore that my bra is a torture chamber. I am REALLY late but got peculiar bleeding today. Light pink and reaal light, just a smidgen. One pad all day. I never heard of implantation bleeding. Glad to know I am not the only confused one out there!

Hey Ladies, I just wanted to let you know that what i thought was implantation bleeding was actually my period. The thing is I took 2 HPT and they came back positive but then i went the next day for a blood test and it was Negative .. Now im back on clomid and im so depressed. I dont know what else to do. Im thinking that me and husband should just have an IUI this month.. he doesnt want to but i think its the best idea

Hi Finny123, I am so sorry that you are not pregnant. But it appears that you were. It is extremely rare to get a false + hpt so if two of them said you were I am fairly sure you were. It sounds like you may have had a ver early miscarriage. I had one myself in January at 5 wks. There is a silver lining to this though, and that is that you were able to get pregnant. So you are very likely to get pregnant again and your chances of having another miscarriage are not that high. Baby Blessing to you!

Hey tonjak65, Thanks for the kind words.. I have to just try to keep my spirits up and hopefully it will happen sooner rather then later.. apparently Im totally fine to conceive. Ive had all the tests done and im on clomid just to help my ovulation. Im thinking we might do an IUI this month bc the clomid works really well with me but it might be drying out my CM which could be why im not getter preggers. Anyway its nice to have to guys here for support .. Baby Dust to you all....

I have the same concerns. I just came off BC in mid-late Feb (last AF) after being on it for years so I'm not sure what is "normal" for me. Then a couple of weeks ago, I started getting really fatigued, sore and bb, very enlarged np, bloating, some cramping, pelvic pain, etc. I was certain that I was pregnant but the hpt were all -. Then 3 days ago, I started what I thought was implantation bleeding - very light pink first day. Then, very, very light brown spotting after that. This morning I woke up and there was a small pool of blood (bright red) and I’m not sure if this is my period now or not. I’m also diabetic and was under strong work stress last week. I know that diabetes can increase chances of miscarriages so now I’m worried. Anyone have similar things happen and still be pregnant? Should I go see my doctor?

Looking at previous posts, it seems like many people have ?s on when to test after implantation bleeding and many testing too early including yours truly: ) Also, Lonnie/Lanie or anyone else who had red bleeding and pregnancy symptoms, did you ever show positive test? Anyway, I found this Q&A on the peeonastick site, which I found to be very helpful. Sorry for the long post! "Implantation" refers to the embryo attaching itself to the uterus. Sometimes women experience spotting or even light bleeding as the embryo burrows deep into the lining. (Some don't; either is normal.) This process can happen in a day, but in some cases, takes a full 4 days for the embryo to completely attach. Implantation generally occurs between 6-12 days following ovulation/conception, with the majority (over 80%) occurring between 8-10 days past ovulation (DPO.) Once implantation is complete, the embryo begins producing hCG, the pregnancy hormone. It usually takes about 2-4 days for the implanted embryo to begin producing hCG at a high enough level to be detected by a sensitive pregnancy test. So, if you have experienced spotting or bleeding, and you believe it may be related to implantation, you should probably wait about 2-4 days to test (using a sensitive, early-detection test that measures at 25 mIU/mL or lower. Mary, I had the same thing happen to me just as you described (pink then maybe a light brown)- but I never had more than enough than for maybe a panty liner. But if there is anything I have learned with pregnancy is almost no two pregnancies are a like and those stupid 'test 5 days before your first missed period' test did NOT work for me! lol! We were very lucky and got pregnant on the first try, I had JUST gotten off my BC and didnt think it would happen so quick, but wasnt sure what my body would do. I never spotted before af, and I thought that is what it was but, ta-da here I am at 26 weeks! ;) Good luck to ya!

I've been reading this long line of posts with great interest. Thanks everyone for posting! I can't tell if I'm pregnant. Implantation happened yesterday morning. I know this because I got some bleeding and abdominal cramps. Since then, I have continued to have some bleeding but not too much. That was until this afternoon. The bleeding has started to become a little heavier and now there are some solids. I don't know how to describe it except to say that it looks like some placenta. The bleeding isn't enough to call it a period but I'm worried. Has this happened to anyone? Thanks! Anna
