Period Or Freak Bleeding?

I just spent the last month waiting for Aunt Flo to arrive... She was 25 days late. In that 25 day span, I was crazy tired, had mild nausea at anything that had a scent, and had loads of lotion cm. I took 3 tests and all came out negative. Yesterday, I thought my period had finally showed up, but the consistency was weird. No clots, and though it was red, it was mixed with cm. I expected it to still be around, but it went away last night. Do you think this was a legit period, or something else? A false bfn? Or am I just kidding myself? Google is no help. -Liz

Liz, you can get the signs from hormones gone awry for some other reason - glandular problems or an ovarian cyst for instance. If things don't get back to normal in another month you might want to have a check up.

I have a question, I came off depo 7 months ago. Got y period back sept 24-31 of 2016. Than again 2 weeks later in October . But it didn't come till nov 3-6 . I had unprotected sex the day it ended I'm trying to have a baby. But 10 days after my last period . So November 17 I have experienced spotting. It started if brown than bright red than back to red. Lasted till today. November 20. Lasted 4 days. Had to use a tampon but wouldn't fill it just a couple spots on the tamping after 8 hours. (TMI) I'm just curious could this be implantation bleeding or period still messed up from depo.

Chantel, sorry things are messed up after Depo - it happens. Until your cycle returns to regular it's futile to try to guess what the bleeds and spots mean. Just run a test if you start to get a bunch of early pregnancy signs. GL!
