Who's The Father

Hey ladies, I'm in a terrible situation. So... On the 15th of December 2016 I had sex with Potential A , he's not quite sure if he spermed in me (let's say he did) , then I had sex again but with Potential B from the 19th to the 21st of December he's also not certain if he spermicide in me or not (let's say he did too) . Then I had my normal period on the 25th December not suspecting anything until I missed it on the following month January and later found out that I'm pregnant. I'm 9 weeks pregnant counting from the day I missed my period but it's more than that when counting from the day I actually conceived which baffles me for I don't know when exactly or who the father of my child is . Please help I am in desperate need of answers ASAP ????????????

We have to conclude that you had an in-pregnancy bleed Dec 25th. Do you have a record of your Sep, Oct, Nov period dates? When do you plan to have a first trimester ultrasound - you may be 12 weeks already counting from say Dec 5th? Either would give us a clue as to when you ovulated in December. It's going to be a close call. Sep 5th is a possible due date.

November 27 at night , November 1 and September 29 . I have a 3 and a half days period .

That helps - cycles vary from 26 to 33 days, ovulation could be anywhere from CD 12 to CD 19. Starting from Nov 27th ovulation could be anywhere from Dec 9th to Dec 16th. The egg is good for only one day so Dec 19th sex is not likely responsible. I vote for Potential A with ovulation guessed at Dec 15th and a due date of Sept 8th! Your encounter Dec 15th should have been memorable since sex drive is highest at ovulation time. Let's see how that all ties in with your first ultrasound.

Okay , I'm having my ultrasound tomorrow. What should I be looking for certainty of the father? Potential B is actually my husband so this is quite shattering for I am hoping that he is the father. If he really isn't then I'll have to terminate, I think I'm 12weeks along and I'm planning to abort naturally to make it look like a miscarriage. I found out that consuming a lot of pineapple would results to a miscarriage, will it be successful at 12weeks along?

Let's hope I am wrong! If they say you are 14 weeks gestational age (12 weeks fetal) that means they are looking at ovulation Dec 15th suggesting a period starting Dec 1st (you said Nov 27th but your cycles are not regular).

If you decide to terminate it's late for medical - surgical will be necessary. Maybe you can find a way to cover for your absence for the best part of a day, coming home with a story of a surprise miscarriage and a girl friend to back it up. Lies like that can be discovered and/or haunt you for a long time. Honesty can be a better policy.

You're right , it'll haunt me ... I am not at all for abortion but it's desperate times like these that bring such irrational decisions and surgical abortion is even more horrific . So you're saying that A's sperm hit the egg first leaving B's unlikely or highly unlikely ? What percentage does B have of being the father ?

I think we should wait for the ultrasound before jumping to conclusions. You can ask them what was the likely date of ovulation which will be two weeks after the theoretical LMP

I had the ultrasound and I'm 11 weeks baby is 4cm . That's all I could get I couldn't go deep into questions 'cause my husband was in the room ... He's excited and wants to be there every second of this pregnancy.

The ultrasound says you got pregnant at ovulation Jan 4th. Sex in the first days of January would be responsible. Did you have a big New Year celebration? Your bleed Dec 25th was a real period and eliminates the possibility of pregnancy from earlier sex. Weeks of pregnancy (gestational age) are counted from the first day of your last normal period, not the first day of your missed period. Fetal age (from ovulation) is two weeks less than gestational age. I hope this sets your mind at ease.

Yes I had a big new year celebration but it was with a condom and it didn't burst , this was on the 2nd of Jan . Had sex again with my husband on the 24th of January with a condom as well.
