I went into labor the night before my scheduled C-Sec. Aparently I was right about the due date and wonderful doctor was wrong. I can't believe my diabetes stayed under control up to natural labor, though there I was in labor. My first pregnancy was an enduced labor and it lasted for 26 hrs., ended with only 4 cm dialation and a baby in distress. I was not into another bad situation that followed in extreme pain so I begged my Doctor to just stop the labor and go ahead and operate. So we made a deal, if my labor went past 6 hrs we would reconsider a C-Sec. So I thought the first Baby was a very long and painfull post-op so why not give it a try. Two hours later I am cuddleing my son, b___st feeding for the first time and they just couldn't keep me down, it was so much fun. I want to cry when I think of all of the lost experiences with my first pregnancy, it just wasn't the same.
