I was wondering if anyone could suggest a good br___t pump for a full time working mom. I can't afford the high piced Medeals and other couple hundred dollar pumps. Has anyone had any experience with the Playtex or Evenflo pumps? I plan on br___tfeeding for the first year so renting one really isn't an option. Any suggestions will be ppreciated, THANKS!

I have a medela pump instyle advanced and it is wonderful. It comes in a shoulder bag for easy transporting. Go to worldwidesurgical.com and you'll save a lot of money.

pregnantjackie, can you tell me how much your pump was from that site? They don't have the prices posted. I tried to email then and ask the price, but it locked up my whole internet application. I guess I'll have to call.

I bought a Medela PIS from someone on craigslist. I got lucky and bought one off a mom who lives very close to me. She just had a baby herself and thought she would b___stfeed but it turned out she left the hospital formula feeding. My pump was brand new as the mom never used it, in fact it is still under warranty, I paid $100.00. You can buy a used pump and just get new parts at Babies R us or order them online. I really have not heard great things about the playtex pump and the nickname for the evenflo is the evilflow because it is supposed to be very painful.

I don't know when you will need a pump...but my bfing days are just about up. I have about two more weeks of attempting this and then it's curtains on b___b milk for me. My pump is one of those $$$ medela PIS things...I can easily sell it to you for cheap if you are interested. I will check back on this thread during the week to see if you are.
