It's more like a question of the age(as in time) of having the child, which to me, can be just as frightening as the age of the actual mother(if she is extremely young)

I agree to a certain extent.....if you look at it from the perspective that people's life expectancy is longer than it was is 1200, then yes I agree. Someone having a child at 15 in 600 years ago was OK since they may only live to be 40......but I think that people today are WAY too eager to "grow up". I can tell you form personal experience that at 16, I thought I had it all figured out. Now I am 27, and I know that I didn't. Everyone is in such a hurry to be an adult, that I think they rush into things without thinking them completely through. All I know is, I had my childhood, enjoyed myself, went to college, got a degree, have a career, got married then when we were ready, I had my dd at 26 years old. That was right for me. I do not think that I would have made a good mom at 16, and I know that my children would not have benefitted from having a teen mother with no career, education and no experiences to help guide them. I do not understand what the rush is to have kids so young nowadays...or to get married so young? What's the point? Enjoy your young adulthood.
