I would check with your OB/GYN and see what they say.

My obgyn recommended that I have at least 2 normal periods after going off the pill before ttc. She said that it is better to give your body the chance to regulate and to build up a thicker lining in the uterus - while on the pill the lining is quite a bit thinner. If you get preg right away, the lining (which becomes placenta) may still be on the thin side and may increase your odds of miscarriage. She said it's not a guarantee that you would mc, just that the chances are slightly higher. I know several people that got pg right after coming off the pill and delivered healthy babies anyway. I would talk with your dr and make your own decision.

I got pregnant right after stopping the pill (I had my 3 weeks of active pills and then my period week and I just did not start a new pack) and I miscarried. I have never had any health problems, 2 perfect pregnancies before that, and I was DEVASTATED! After reading and learning a lot, I would definitely have waited AT LEAST until I had one period after getting off the pill.

I fell pregnant on the Pill and continued on taking it through the pregnancy (I changed brand and didn't have a period - was on it for 11 years) until I did a test to shut my then fiance (now husband) up. It came back positive. Three days later scan showed I was 13w4d pregnant! No harm to me or the baby.
