Do Breastfeed Babies Get Fat

That's my Q, I mean babies that are solely br___tfeed

I don't think it's as common but sure if they eat too much. There's nothing wrong with a chubby baby. His/her doctor will tell you if they are eating too much. Feed on demand as recommended until the doc tells you different. I asked my doctor if a b___stfed baby can overeat and he said something like he's never seen it or very rarely is that a problem. Sorry, my memory is bad.

Thank You. She isn't fat, filling out nice though I guess. I just wanted to ask, I was a chubby bub but I was formula fed.

Actually, research indicates b___stfed babies are less likely to be obese as adults. Formula is packed full of sugars that is why it is so thick and causes constipation. More than likely a baby will become fat on formula.

Thanks for answering my question, I really thought my uterus was fallin apart ,i thought I would never be able to have anymore kids with that problem but I guess it is normal,Thank you. PS. check my forum some people answered your question that you asked me.

my dr. said b /f babies are usually chubby as babies but lean as adults. I'll take it! I love my chubby boy (10 weeks and 15 pounds).

B/f babies are unlikely to get too fat. My doctor said the same thing KH did. Chubby babies leaner adults. They learn better eating habits at the b___st as in stopping when full as opposed to "finishing the bottle". My niece was a thinner formula fed baby but she's a chubby nine year-old now. I'm b/f my daughter as long as I can. She's six months old now so I have about six months of mat leave left. Hopefully I can keep my supply up that long...(having issues right now but I think it's getting better)

I live in Japan where everyone b___stfeeds. These babies are soooo big. The tiny women cart around these little chubbies. It must be the b___stfeeding!!

I was a little chubby off b___stmilk as an infant, because of the fat amount in human b___stmilk. I don't think it's possible for a baby to overeat as long as he's getting fed when he wants. Babys are more likely to eat more if they only get the b___st at certain times, because they know that they only get it so often so they try to make it last longer.

My stepson was a small formula fed baby & now he's and overwieght 9 year old.
