Lopsided Breasts

I just had a baby 4 weeks ago. Im br___tfeeding but he seems to have a preference to the right br___t. Now it seems like my right br___t is getting bigger than my left! Has this ever happened to anyone?!

This is very common. My 4 month old baby boy prefers my right side, which has become at least a cup size larger than the left. A lactation consultant told me it is not uncommon for one b___st to produce up to 65% more milk than the other...I think I am part of that 65%. Your baby is still young, I would recommend offering him the left more often, maybe that will balance things out.

I was little lopsided before but now it is even worse. It is very common. I was told that it will probably not stay that way after all is said and done (there may only be a slight difference.) I know it goes against everything you read about switcing back and forth but I always offer the smaller one first so she eats the most from it while she is really hungry. My baby is now almost six months and doing great and it has helped my b___st size issue some so I guess that is my recommendation. Good luck and a big congrats on your little one!

Another way to go abt this is to pump from the left b___st if baby feeds from the right. but if baby feeds from the left, leave the right alone til the size evens out. the idea is to stimulate the left more than the right to help even out its size.
