Teething And Nursing Probs

My little guy is teething way early (3 months old.) I br___tfeed him but lately he is having trouble. He will latch on then pull away, over and over, for a solid 5 minutes then give up and chew on his hand. My milk supply is faltering a bit as a result! What have other people done to reduce discomfort for their babies and also keep supply up? I hate pumping but will do it if I need to. Also he has better luck eating out of a bottle but I don't want to supplement very often, as I use formula and he's only 3 months.

My dd is fussy at the b___st when she is have teething pain too. At least thats what I think it is. Have you tried Hylands teething tablets? They seem to be working for us. You can get them at Walgreens. Also for some reason it helps for me to stand after she latches on then walk around nursing for a few minutes then sit back down??
