hi anne I am completely understand what you are going through. My baby is two weeks old and wakes up every 2 hours.... I am so exhausted and feel like a zombie. I started not sleeping a week before delivering my baby and I am getting in such a bad mood, Last night baby seemed to feel sick to his stomach and was up all night..... as soon as he gets to sleep during today I am going to take a nap as well.

Hang in there, the second month is much better, at least with sleeping more, but then you deal with them up more with nothing to do, leads to a cranky baby!!!!

It got better at two weeks with baby #1. I am co-sleeping with baby #2 and it is WAY better than my experience with feeding my first baby. I am actually sleeping!

my baby is 4.5 weeks and I actually got 8 hours of sleep last night. not 8 straight hours, but patched together. He did 4.5, then 2.5, then 1..... I was up at 5:45 for the day, but it felt good to get adequate sleep.... I also have a toddler, so I can only sleep during the day if they both sleep. It does get better :)

co-sleeping is definitely the way to go! i have a 9 week old who sleeps almost through the night (yipee!) because he's snuggled up next to me. it's great. of course, he gets up to nurse, but then sleeps again right away....without fail. he loves it, and so do i.
