i think she meant she has a gift - her child at 38, not that she is a gifted mother like she is special.

my little guy is b___stfed too. he started out as a newborn pooping twice a day, then at about 1-2 weeks old, he started only pooping once a week, and it was like an explosion when it happened, everywhere!!! I got really concerned, then at about 7 weeks or so, he started pooping once a day. give it time and it will be normal, or if you are concerned, see a doctor. i think (opinion not fact) that their little systems just aren't fully developed yet, and later on they digest better.
