Supplementing Breastmilk W Formula

I had to start supplementing with formula bc my daughter wasn't gaining enough weight...just make sure she feeds off you first before you give her formula and pump often so you don't lose your milk supply :) Luckily my daughter took to the bottle just fine and she happily feeds still from me too..

I thought you had to swirl the expressed b___stmilk because it separates since it is not homogenized.
