C Section At A Military Establishment

I am planning as of now to have my third c-section in late August. I had the same doctor in my hometown with both of our other pregnancies and never saw a military doctor. I start panicking sometimes that there will be complications, and I haven't been able to find anyone who's had a c-section here, much less a third. Does anyone have any words of wisdom? It would mean so much. Thanks!

I have no experience w/ military docs, but I have had 3 c-sections. My 2nd and 3rd recoveries were about the same (1st was after a long complicated labor, so it was a harder recovery). There was pain, but it was manageable and I was up within several hours. How old are your other kids? Mine are 6 1/2, 3 and 19 months.

They are 5.5 and 2. Thanks for your reply. I'm a little nervous because I found out yesterday that I won't actually get to meet the doc that does the surgery beforehand. Hopefully everything will go ok. I know that it's a pretty common surgery.

Cute ages. Boys or girls (or one of each lol). I have boy, girl, boy. That stinks that you don't get to meet the doc beforehand! How were your other c-section recoveries?

They are both boys. We'll have to see about this one.
