I'm just wondering if anyone else here has had a classical c-section? I had my baby prematurely so they had to cut my uterus vertically to have better access to the baby. It's only been two weeks.. Because of this section I will never have natural child birth only c-sections.
Just wondering how long after you got pregnant again and if the pregnancy was different at all. Also how long after this type of cesarian can I have s_x?

Hi, I also had a preemie, we lost him a few days later. It's only been 4 weeks, but we are going to try for s_x next week, they say 6-8 weeks. I was also told to wait 6-18 months to try again, but I have heard so many stories of women getting pg and doing fine less than 6 months after delivery, that we are going to try starting in March. I had a cla__sical c-section inside because my uterus was too narrow, but they did a horizontal cut outside. My doctors told me I would have a scheduled c-section around 36 weeks with the next pregnancy.

I too had a cla__sical c-section. Lost our twin boy's. I won't be able to have natural birth either, I was told to wait 1 year from my Gyne, and from an different Dr. 9 months which is not critical he said I had to have c-section again, so kinda left me in the dark as to when it is really safe. We had s_x 3 weeks after my c-section. I too have heard of story of women getting pg. sooner then 6 months and doing fine. I would say it may have a lot to do with how your body heals and what condition your Uterus is in.
