I was just wondering how many of you that have had c-sections felt like you were ripped off in a sense? I know this wont apply to everyone. But in my case, i'm not exactly sure how i feel. I mean its done and over with now but i still wonder what it would have been like to have a va___al birth. I didnt have one by choice, as i'm sure many others didnt'. I just felt ripped off do you?

Yes I do in a way. I went thru 13 1/2 hours of all natural labor ; I am very proud of myself for that, only to be told that I am 9cm's and have to have a c-section. I cried... A LOT.. But in the end I am just glad that my son was born healthy & happy. That's what truely matters ~ even if we did get "ripped off".

I did feel that way at first, but then I started to think about how things would have turned out if the option for a c-section weren't available. My son and I came through OK because of this procedure, and I am thankful. I'm pregnant again, and want to try a VBAC, but should a c-section prove necessary, I won't be disappointed.

I wouldn't say I felt ripped off... I think I'm just curious how it would be to have a v____al delivery. Kind of like the way that I'm curious as to what it would be like to be pregnant with twins or triplets lol. For my kids there was no other way out. I have scarring of the cervix from a D&C for a m/c and can't dilate (unfortunately I only found out after I went through 24 hours of painful induced labor and only got to 1/2 cm. with my oldest... luckily, I found out while pregnant with #2 and had my next two by scheduled c-sections!). It would be interesting to know what a v____al delivery is like, but then again my youngeset was 10 lbs. 6 oz. 22 3/4" with a 15" head... I probably would have been regretting that one if I'd have been able to have a v____al delivery :-O

I felt a little cheated. I think it was more the events right after that made me feel cheated. My first was an emergency c-section due to lack of fetal movement. The diagnoses was acute perivasculitis (swelling of the blood vessels that supply the placenta) and an infected umbilical cord. Anyway my baby was in pretty bad shape and I didn't get to hold him or hardly even see him before he was wisked away. Every time someone came to visit they went straight to the nursery and his daddy showed him off. I was so tired and so very sore from all the trauma that I wasn't able to go to the nursery until after lunch the next day. It really hurt me when everyone talked about him and I hadn't really even seen him. I felt like I was missing very important bonding time. I was a little over protective of him at first because of that. I didn't want anyone else doing anything. Now I am 37 weeks pregnant with my second and have a c-section scheduled for the 29th of this month. I am hoping for a much calmer delivery. It is different though because I never went into labor with my first now I am having a lot of very regular Braxton Hicks contractions with this one and it is all new.

Hi mums, I have twin boys they are almost 14 months and the most adorable pair, hard blimin work though. Jake is a big boy and James is quite pet_te. Dont ask me how it's not like i feed one and not the other lol. As you can imagine it's a pain in the but buying x2 different size pampers (ah, shoot me im a disposable user) for my sins. Anyway i did a promotion on a site for a free box of Pampers. Thinking nothing would come out of it i forgot and a few weeks later a box arrived so i was like whats this, it was the nappies ***SHOCKED***. I emailed them to say thanks blah blah blah. Then i thought i'll ask if i can do it again, they said that was fine so i've started again. As you can imagine i dont get out much with the tiny tear ways in tow so i have'nt mangaged to keep in touch with my friends, bad i know. So im going to ask a big favour of you and ask if somone would help me out on this one. There is trial apply for stuff so no cost for you. Any help would be well appreciated, Thanks so much lindy xx w w w freenappies.co.uk/free-nappies-club?referer_id=8547
