Hemmroid Like Pain After C Section

I had my c-section a week ago, and (sorry if tmi) now I think I have a hemmroid (never had'em before). The pain is very localized when I go to the bathroom. It began before my first bowel movement after the c-section, so it wasn't caused by that. I labored for about 6 hours or so before the c-section, could that have caused it? I wouldn't think so, I'm just trying to figure this out!

Unfortunately you do not need to have gone through labor to get pregnancy-induced hemorriods. I got them after my first c-section. But I had internal ones, which are supposedly the best kind of hemmoroids to have (I just about fell over laughing when my doc said that... like there's a BEST kind of hemorroid?). The internal ones do not burn or itch like external ones, and the only way you know you have one is when it bleeds. Lovely, huh? Talk about TMI! You get them just from the extra weight and pressure of the pregnancy. Talk to your doc because they can prescribe something to help.

With both my c/s's I had hemmeroids. The first one I was in labour for 7 hrs before I had the operation so I thought that was why. My next c/s was scheduled and I still had hemmeriods afterwards..Why I have no idea doesn't make sense to me I never had them before that or since..so my advice is just get some ointment to treat it and it will just go away..anyway nothing to worry about..congrats on your baby
