Kidney Lost During C Section

I had a c-section two years ago and was very sick afterwards. A Dr. earlier this year discovered that one of my kidneys is missing. He thinks it was torn out during my c-section. I had my baby in southern florida and I cannot find the dr. that delivered my baby. I've heard rumors that he fled the country because he was not really a Dr. just acting like one with fake licenses from Mexico.
My current Dr. said it one of the strangest things he's ever heard.
