Second Pregnancy

Hi, I have a 10 month old daughter who was born with c-section. And now I think I'm pregnant again. I was told by my Dr. not to get pregnant until 18 months. Now I don't know what to do. Is it possible to go ahead with this pregnancy? I want this baby.

I think it'll be fine. Most doctors say 12 months, some say 18, and some even say just 6 months!! There's really only a slightly higher risk w/ c-sections so close together. I got pregnant with my 3rd baby (ds) when my 2nd (dd) was 8 months old. So, my c-sections were 17 months apart. Everything went just fine and recovery wasn't much harder wih him than with the others... just a little harder, but that was because I was coming home to 3 kids instead of just one or two. Good luck w/ your new baby :-)

Yea....you will be fine. My girls are only 18 months apart and my pregnancy had alot of complications, but not because of them being so close in age. I delivered a healthy girl. I am no preggo with #3 and my youngest is 10 months.

i had all 3 of my children about 21 months apart, all csection. My ex SIL had two babies by csection less than 1 year apart but she did get an infection with her second. Also britney spears had 2 children via csection less than a year apart.
