Traditial Horizontal C Section

I lost my angel Sidney after an emergency c-section due to placenta previa when I started to bleed. She got an infection and passed away at 10 days old. Since she was premature, the did a traditional c-section (horizontal cut on the uterus) and I am trying to figure out how long we should wait to get pregnant again. My risk for complications are higher and the doctor's won't let me attempt VBAC, it will be a c-section, so that reduced my risks. But I still don't know how long to wait. We really want to try again, but don't know the right time to wait and I am also very nervous for my health. I am at an increased risk for hemoraghing and other complications. I don't know if it is worth the risk.

I had a cla__sic c section with a inverted t cut. My doctor says we can try again. We lost our daughter at 26 weeks, she lived for only 5 short days. I am also worried about the complications, I was told that they would monitor the scar on very closely to makesure it does not separate. I think if your doctor says you can then you go right ahead. It doesn't replce what you lost but it is a healing process allowing you to move forward.

God Bless you, and may He bless you with another baby soon. No baby will replace your first-born, but I pray for you , for a healthy pregnancy, a safe delivery and a lovely homecoming. The same to Allie as well...you poor things, one can't even imagine what your loss is like.
