I had a c-section 3 months ago and still have a huge tummy... is this normal? I look like I'm 6 months pregnant... anyone else experience this?

I had my C-Section almost a year ago. I don't recall having any problem with that. Did you gain an execisive amount of weight by any chance? My stomach looked gross for a while, but it went down after about a month. You might want to get that checked out.

Thanks Michelle for your reply. I gained about 35 pounds and I'm actually a really pet_te girl. I'm still really thin except for my tummy, it's so gross! I can't believe I still look pregnant.

Hi Suzie
I don't think your c-section is the reason for the size of your tummy. I had a c-section 1 1/2 years ago and still have a little tummy, but I also gained about 45 pounds during pregnancy and am still working on that ( have lost 33 pounds by now). I am almost back to my normal weight now and my tummy has constantely became smaller. I don't think I will ever be as slim as I was before. My sister has the same problem, as well as my mother. Both are very thin people, but they still have a little tummy due to their pregnancys. So I a__sume this is in our family. I am now doing sitt ups every day to strengthen my tummy muscles. I think this will help.
