I am still in quite a bit of pain some days. But in the end it is totally worth it!! How come they put you under the second time?? Did u request that? Just curious.

hi ange, no i never found out what the burning sensation was- i just a__sumed it was your insides trying to get back to normal. i was put under 2nd time because spinal block wasnt working, they tried 10 times which was already too many attempts. i too couldnt fit into my pjs from prenancy, my husband had to race out and find something in hope it would fit.i sometimes feel tender and sharp pains on and around scar even after 1 1/2 yrs.

Wow 10 times I am sorry to hear that. I get the burning sensations usually at night. My stomach is really numb (almost up to my belly b___ton), is this normal?? I kinda figured the same that my insides are trying to get back to normal. But my daughter is almost 3mths old and I have only stopped bledding for about a week or so. (Maybe because of the depo shot?? I dunno) Needless to say this is a very BIG pain in the b___t. Anyway, I do beleive that it is still totally worth it!!

Hi Amanda LOL, ya I think so too. It's really funny how we all have different experiences with sections. You would think that they would all be pretty routine and consistent ( not the case). This was the worst experience for me. I also have this "pouch" this is rather embara__sing. Will it EVER go away?? Can I excersise this away, if so HOW?? Any suggestions. Plus I gained alot of weight with the pregnancy and having the section on top of that it is rather hard to get back into an excersize routine.I still have another 45lbs+ to get back to where I was and I had gained alot of weight before I got pregnant ARG!!! It just seems that it will NEVER go away.
Anyway I am a little off topic lol!!!!! So I will end here. Is there another forum that we can discuss theses issues?? I'd like to know.
Okay Take Care all and good luck

Hi. I had to have an emergency c-section with my daughter. I was extremely panicked b/c it all happened so fast. I was so freaked out, that I couldn't keep still even when I tried. They put something in my oxygen mask that made me really groggy and tired. Within seconds, I was calm and in a sleepy stage. I'm not sure what it was that they put in my mask, but it worked great. So there is something they can give you, I just don't know what the name of it is. Sorry..... Good luck!!

Yes that piece of fat that is just at the scar. Ewwwww, this is so unattractive. The things we do to bring these precious little creatures into this world. Yes I too had something to calm me down in my oxygen b/c I was just so freaked out and disspointed that I went through 28 friggin hrs of labour lol. I still have at least 45lbs to get back to where I was b4 I got preggo. I am from Toronto Canada

Hi my son is 9 months old and I am still suffering from csection complications. I needed a Csection because I had gestational diabetes and Preeclampsia. I developed a post op infection and returned to the hospital 1 week after delivery after my incission opened. I then had it debrided in the emergency room which was horrific. I then went home after 3 days on IV antibiotics and had nurses come to my house for one month and pack the wound with gauze. I still have pain after all this time and pressure. A couple weeks ago I had a fever and thought I had the flue but sure enough my incission opened again. I am currently in pain and have seeked help from multiple doctors who tell me there is nothing I can do except let it heal again. If anyone has had similar experience please E MAIL ME Im scared and at my whits end. Lucyrn@optonline.net

Lisa;
I am so sorry to hear that!! And I thought that my recovery was bad. Wow!! You poor thing. Do the docs know why your incision keeps opening?? There must be some reason. What does debrided mean?? I had an infection as well but they just gave me some really strong antibiotics. My stomach still burns and feels like it is on fire. I also am still bleeding (from BOTH ends), and my daughter is 3 months old. I wish you all the best and takie care of yourself

I had a c-section just the other day and had the same problem. My baby was estimating to weigh about 8-8 1/2 lbs(came out being 9 1/2) My baby wouldn't drop into the pelvis and labor had to be induced at 41 weeks. I was told to try being on ur knees and hands and rock back in forth, WALK and try to keep calm and not to be anxious. I have panic attacks also which cause me not to breathe and I did fine, as long as u have a support buddy with u, you should be fine! There are other ways to induce labor which are in many birthing books, Im not sure of them I know castor oil I believe its called helps. Good luck and best wishes

as far as i've heard nothing will knock you into labour, however you can help the baby drop by walking around alot.... gravity will take care of it.... i've now had 2 c-sec and i know they wont put you to sleep unless absolutely ness, it can slow the baby's heart and breathing down..... i panic too but at least now they let your partner in the room.... just try to relax and remember that whatever happens they are doing the best thing for you to have a happy healthy baby.... its worth it in the end...
