I am 24 weeks pregnant with y second. I had a va___al delivery with my first. I was induced at 36 weeks as a result of pre-eclampsia. So far so good with this pregnancy but I was thinking seriously about having a c-section this time. I feel like I had a terrible vag delivery and have no desire to do that again. Anyone have any helpful hints or ideas for me? My OB says she will do whatever I choose, I am just trying to weigh the pros and cons of both.

Induced labor (especially pre-term) can be very painful and since your tissues and cervix weren't ready hormonally that may have caused your bad first experience...every birth is different and since you are not experiencing any of the previous problems you will probably do just fine this time. C-sections are no fun either! Good luck!

Amanda, this question has been asked before,if you look down the board.I have had one of each, would choose a section every time. They'll tell you to get the meds but sometimes they don't take.a section is controlled, and enjoyable, the pain afterwards for me was manageable.Have a look at elective down the page, and the girl whose scared of giving birth, women have said about the different births there too
