Getting Ready For 3rd Section Worried About Rupture

I have heard some conflicting things about uterine ruptures. I have had 2 c-sections--one because my son was too big to drop (we tried to labor but after all day on pitocin only got to 1cm and ended up going to section at my choice), he ended up being 11lbs. 2 oz., the second was scheduled b/c I was determined NOT to lay there all day trying to labor with her, but she was smaller 6lbs. 9oz. So........my doc said after my last c-section that my uterine wall was very thin. Now I'm preg. with #3. After the first one I got preg. when he was 9 months old, this time I got preg when she was about 17 1/2 months old so there is a little more time lapsed this go round. I know I'm having a section and am due in June. I asked my doc about risk of rupture since the lining is thin, she said we just won't labor at all, if I start to show signs of labor (dilating or anything) we'd do it early, otherwise we'll look at 38-39wks to deliver with this one. We did my daughter at 39 wks, my son was 1 week overdue so I'm sure that contributed to his size!! I asked about what if this baby is huge like the first one and she said it's not so much the size as the contractions that could cause rupture....hence, the not laboring part. So, I'm thinking ruputuring usually happens during labor. So....then I talk to a friend who is due this month and one of the docs in the practice she goes to doesn't like vbacs(which is the route she's going) b/c he's had several bad experiences with ruptures, some in the 24-26wk range. WHY ARE THEY RUPTURING SO EARLY? I was only slightly concerned about rupturing until I heard this. I'm at 17 wks now and want to avoid doing whatever it was that caused their ruptures. Should I not be picking up my 3y.o.? My little girl is very small and doesn't strain me at all but he's kinda heavy. Maybe it's the hormones but all of the sudden I'm extremely concerned. Does anyone have any advice or knowledge on these early ruptures or ruptures in general? I had low incisions with both (they went in the same one the second time). Please help!!

Hey I hate to say this you sound like your in the same boat as me my uterine scar is suppose to be 2 cm thick is onyl 2 mm so rupture was a great concern with my third pregnancy. I was informed if my daughter had bene sunny side up and kicked she would have gone right through but i got lucky she was head down face in and I carried her till about 38 1/2 weeks when they did the scheduled csection. My dr recommended after my 2nd csection (I have had 3 including my daughter) I didnt have any more kids because of the risk well after my third he said no way it would be dangerous I would be high risk but my uterine scar showed it was the same thickness it was with my 3rd as it was with my 2nd 2mm. Well I am pregnant with #4 and am high risk for uterine rupture I am due June 10th. All 3 csections where in the same spot the 3rd they cut me longer and had to remove scar tissue. I am just closely watched and am very sensitive when the baby moves across my incision and if it moves wrong I break down crying in pain. You just have to watch for blood in urine thats a tell tale sign of rupture but also other signs for other problems. My OBGYN says ruptures are rare before 28 weeks because the baby is still so small but have to be careful aftr 28 weeks, 3rd tri. I should add my daughter was 8 ibs 13 ounces bigger than bothe my previous babies by almost a pound.
