If you had a c-section, and you got pregnant 7 months after, do you think that everything would be safe and ok?

Hi. My first two c-sect babies were only 11 months apart, and I ended up having 4 c-sections in exactly 4 years and 4 hours to the day. I do not recommend that on so many levels. Too many to explain here. What I will say is I did not have a scar separation with the first two and other than having to go through the pregnancies and the pain of recovery with the sections I don't know that anything would have been different if I had waited with those two. I was anemic from blood loss after the first, plus two preggies so close together. I think the worst part was having an 11 1/2 month old infant to take care of and a NICU baby to visit and then care for. It was rough, I won't lie, but even after 4 soooo close we are all okay now. I did get a hysterectomy from too much scar tissue though. I think you will be fine with 7 months between the end of one and the beginning of another pregnancy but as always, check with your doctor and get good prenatal care.

I got pregnant with my 3rd when my 2nd was 8 months old. Recovery was pretty much the same. No major problems here!

Yes, my first was only 3 months old, and I got prego with twins...then my twins were only 3 months old, and I got prego again...then my baby at the time was 12 months exactly when I got prego with my last baby...sooo...I've had 4 c-sections...dates: 4/7/03, 4/1/04, 4/6/05, and 12/17/06. My dr even said I could keep having kids if I wanted to! :)

I had my 1st and 2nd c-sections almost exactly 1 year apart and I had no complications.

I have had 3 sections and was told to space then 1.5 yrs apart. I did that plus. I'm not sure..many people do have them 7 months apart but I don't think it would be ideal.
