Infertility After C Section

Does anyone else have problems getting pregnant after a cesarean? I waited the 2years like my doctor recommended and now I've been trying for 8 months to get pregnant again, is it possible the scar tissue is preventing implantation?

I had 5 and the first 4 r 2yrs apart, but I did have a hard time getting pregnant for # 5 it took about 3 yrs.

I had 2 about 22 months apart. We are trying to get pregnant again and have had no luck after trying for 6 months. We waited and have been trying for about 4 months and still nothing.

I had a cesarean just over 2 years ago. My husband and I have now been trying to have another baby for 10 months, so far with no luck. I've even taken fertility drugs, but nothing has worked. I have read that there is a connection between c-sections and infertility. Even if you get pregnant, there can be problems involving scar tissue that can include placenta previa and placental abruption. A great source of information is the International Caesarean Awareness Network, or ICAN. Their website is fabulous.
