I had a c-section on Tuesday the 15th of may, I have been home since Friday morning and have had no problems but have since noticed that I have had a realltysore tail bone and it only seems to be getting worse, it really hurts to sit down and even hurts to walk and stand. And also today I have noticed I have had bad back aches and just since lunch have had a bad migrane and felt really nausiated. I had a spinal block for this c-section, and I know you can have some side effects after a c-section, but my tail bone???? Let me know if you have had these symptoms and what you did about it..........I am a bit worried but I can not get to see my doc as my hubby doesn't get home till after dark and I am not allowed to drive any where.

I suggest you call your doctor. It almost sounds like you could have a spinal leak from the anesthesia. When they put the needle in it makes a small puncture in the dura of your spine, if it doesn't close or you get up too soon after your c-section it can continue to leak spinal fluid causing horrible headaches and nausea/vomiting. They may have to perform a "blood patch" if it is in fact a spinal fluid leak. The tail bone could be your pelvic bones going back, the positioning on the OR table during your c-section, or many other things. Good luck!

Hi hun, i had a spinal in jan this yr and i too suffered from back pains/aches and aura migraines up until last month. The migraines seem to have gone and my back so much better so i think it could be just one of those things. You have just had major surgery and alot of hormonal changes in body, thats what i put my migraines down to as i have never had one before my section:(xx
