this is my third c-section and I am so nervous about getting an epidurial. my first one was a piece of cake and that lasted about 45 min but the second epidurail was terrible but my doc got the baby out in a matter of minutes I keep having flashback about how much pain and pressure it was and everyone keeps telling me that that is the best part of laboring. I so scared of that feeling a ineed so advice to ease my worries

I have had 3 csections as well and never had an epidural I had a spinal done and it was heaven, my ex SIL had an epideral and she had nothing but problems. Spinals for me where alot easier and less cause for concern than epidurals, I would ask my dr or anethesiologist to explain the difference in detail and choose which one you feel is right for you.
