Steven i am amazed by some of the things i have heard you say about your wife...i dont know how someone could act that way, and you DO NOT deserve that....i am sorry that this has happened to you...you need to do something before she hurts your sweet little girl or that new baby....please dont ignore it and hope it will get better b/c it wont until she receives some help....i think you should try and work it out if you can get help for her but if she is not willing...then the best thing you can do it to see a lawyer about getting your children....also make sure you get as much evidence as you can so that she does not try to say you did something to your children that you did not.....i am really sorry for all that has happened to you and i hope things get better....

also i wanted to say that it takes 2 years for your body to totally be back to normal, but you can safetly get pregnant as early as 6 months...at this time the ligaments and muscles in the uterus have strengthened enough to support another baby....i would not recommend having a VBAC though unless it has been a year or more....i have done alot of research on VBAC and i personnaly dont think they are safe...it is a womens choice but i have heard about too many uterine ruptures and infant mortality due to VBAC's....

question for amy p - September 6

where have you found all your information on VBAC? my daughter was born 4 months ago via c-section and i'm trying to do some research so that when i do get pregnant again i can make an informed decision. thanks! chele

hi,sorry i havent got back on here but ive been working alot.things have started to change to a degree.my wife has an app.with a physciatrist at the end of this month.she still wont let me have anything to do with our daughter yet.she says she is working her way up to it.so i will see how things go.im a little concerned because her sister called me and said madison had a big bruise on her leg.i dont know how it got there but i know my wife has to take her to the doctor for a checkup.but i will keep you all posted on if anything knew arises.and i told her sister to keep an eye out for any more bruises.

most of my info came from school...i am getting my Bachelors in Nursing and spent some time in OB this summer....My GYN also says no he said it is too risky and that he has seen 3 women bleed to death...but again it is a womens choice for me it is just too risky ya know.....but if you wait long enough to heal them i am sure it will be fine just make sure you research it...and i will try and get you some info on some good sites to research...if ya want me to just let me know your e mail...

To whom ever was asking about VBAC after c-section. I had 2 c-sections then 3 vbac's. My first 3 children are 18 months apart. Then 3 years and 4 years. Where I live the hospitals will not allow a women to have a vbac after any c-section which I believe is wrong. It is a insurance issue with the hospitals. I am expecting number 7 and have to drive over an hour away to a hospital that will let me have the baby vbac. That is if I make it to the hospital. I had a miscarriage with number 6 in June. I believe it just wasn't meant to be at that time.

I dont really know what to tell you but I Just had a c-section on July 13, 2005. I lost a very handsome babyboy, there was only 2 days left for me to turn 6 months but I went into labor early. My doctor told me to wait for 3 normal periods and then I could try again in my case. I just want to tell you to leave everything to GOD for he is great. Congradulations and good luck.

Melissa - September 13

To Lina I'm really sorry to hear about your baby boy, I can't even imagine losing a baby, I have two boys and i'm expecting again. was this your first baby??? well i pray everything works out for you.

Nelly - September 15

Hi everyone. I'm 24, I had my beautiful son, Mark, on July 6, 2005 at 40 weeks, just one day b4 his due date, by emergency c-section. He was a perfectly healthy baby until the last hours. We still don't know what happened, but my doctor thinks it's vasa previa where a vein in the umbilical cord bursts when the membranes rupture and the baby ends up losing a lot of blood. Mark became anemic and pa__sed away 6 hours later. It's been so unbearable sometimes, so hard to believe. We had so many hopes and dreams and it seems like everything was stolen from us. We are finally beginning to have some peace and to look forward to the future. Our faith is getting us through this. I, too, have been searching endlessly about the time I should wait to try again. My scar has healed well according to my doctor and I feel well, but she recommended we wait 8-10 months to try again. That just seems unbearably long. My husband and I want to try again now. I asked my family doctor yesterday and he said he doesn't know why my OB recommended such a long wait. He said if I get pregnant now we just go from there. I don't understand why I have to wait since my GP said it would be better for me to have a c-section the next time anyway, so I won't be attempting VBAC. I'm going to make an appointment with her today and discuss all these concerns. It helps to know that so many others have gone through such loss and survived. I pray for all of you that your angels are with you always as mine is with me.

melissa - September 15

Nelly I'm really sorry to hear about your little angel. I have a 4 yr.old and a 10 1/2 mos. old baby and I just found out i'm 4 weeks pregnant, I had a c-section also.. it only takes 3 mos. for the incision to heal. so I say go for it everything should be fine... I don't think your ob knows what shes talking about. well Good Luck! I hope all things work out for you.

Nelly - September 15

Thanks Melissa, I wish you the best in this pregnancy. God bless you and your family.
