STEVEN I TO CAME FROM A SO CALLED GOOD FAMILY AND I WAS MANIPULATED INTO KEEPING SECRETS ABOUT ABUSE THAT HAD BEEN AFLICTED APON ME. FOR THIS REASON I THINK ALONG THE SAME LINES OF YOUR WIFE WHICH IS WHY I AM GLAD I HAE TO BOYS. I AM PREG AGAIN AN FEAR FOR HAING A GIRL BUT COUNCILLING DOES HELP. MY PARTNER IS WORTH IT SURLEY YOU ARE TO. THAT CERTAIN FAMILLY MEMBER NO LONGER HAS A HOLD ON ME AND IS BANNED FROM MINE AN MY CHILDRENS LIFE. IF YOU LOE HER HELP SORT HER AN TOUGH UP TO HER IF SHE IS A HOPELES CAUSE SHE IS NOT FIT TO BE A PARENT SHE WILL BRING UP YOUR CHILD TO FEAR MEN ALL HER LIFE A RUIN ANY CHANCE OF HAPPIENESS YOU WILL LEARN THAT CHILDREN COME FIRST AND YOU NEED TO GET CUSTODY OF YOUR CHILD OR YOU WILL BE NO BETTER THAN HER IM SO SORRY. BUT TOUGH UP FOR YOUR CHILD SAKE AN BE A DAD.

i had a c section august of 2004. it's alittle over a year now and i still haven't concieved yet i want to try for my second i'm regular but still can't seem to find out what the problem is i'm thinking that maybe having one shot of depo on top of a c section was probably the wrong thing to do. is anyone having the same problem.

My son is 3 months old, I had a c-section due to placenta previa and hubby and I are ttc#2 right now WITH our doctor and local midwife's blessing. They said it's better to have your next baby sooner rather than later because 4-5 yrs after a c/s the scar has toughened up and there's more risk of a rupture. I know several women who have had successful vbac after falling pregnant within 6 months of a c/s, so I'm not worried :)

You may end up having another c-section because your body is not totally recovered from your other c-section. A VBAC may be too dangerous for you to attempt. Be happy about your second baby.

My heart and prays go out to those of you who have suffered a lost.
I had a c-sec with my first daughter feb, 2003. I have just had my second c-section Nov 20, 2005. I had planned on having a repeat c-sec anyway but it was scheduled for dec 9, 2005. I had to be put to sleep because I suffered from a uterine rupture. I was told by my doctor that my uterus had a small opening and my daughter's shoulder was protruding out. My daughter is healthy. My due date by ultra sound was dec 16. After the birth of the baby the doctors believe that my due date was miscalculated because her birth weight is inconsistent with a pre-term baby. I was told by my doctor that I could have another baby if I desired to, but I would be considered extremely high risk and would be monitered very closely. I'm kind of use to it because of gestational hypertension with this last pregnancy I was seen just about every week of this pregnancy. I'm waiting now for my six week appointment to find out how soon she(my ob-gyn) recommends us conceiveing again.
My question is has anyone suffered from a small uterine rupture as I have and became pregnant again? If so how long did you wait?

i was 17 when i had my first c section with my daughter and when she was 5 months old i was shocked to find out i was pregnant. she was 13 mths when my son was born by c section so i didnt even wait the 6 mths and the doctors were fine about it and both my babies are healthy 5 and 4 yr olds now. But im pregnant again and have to have a c section this time and the only worry is scar tissue and whats going to happen.

I have not had a rupture or tear in my uterine scar, but I did have a scar that got so thin they could see my daughter through it before they cut...I had them 11.5 months apart. I think you should be happy, but VERY vigilant. Listen to your body and be very aware of anything out of the ordinary. Tell your doctor you want to be able to call and come in for rea__surance whenever you see fit...an anxious mom-to-be releases stress hormones that are proven to adversely affect the growing baby and you both don't need that! I think you will be fine, enjoy this time if you can. luck and best wishes to you! I might add that having two BABIES of different ages is very tough, so ask for and expect help! Sleep afterwards will be one of your biggest obstacles as well as not being able to reason with a 13 month old about the newborn's needs.
