i too would love an answer to this same question, i just lost my baby in an emergencry csection just over a week ago and would like to get preg again in the next 2months or so...

I'm very sorry to hear about the loss of your babies manc and sarahsteele :-( ! All I can say is that I think I'd wait the recommended time that your doc said, manc... I'd be worried about something bad happening from not waiting long enough, though I can understand wanting to ttc again soon!!

hi, saw my midwife and doctor today and they have said 6 weeks postpartom i can start trying to conceive again as im healing remarkably.. so ive got 5 weeks before i can start trying to conceive again. i think thats amazing comapred to the amounts of time all these other ladies are being told to wait..

ok. my dr.advised me to wait for 4 months, as I had severe toxemia & with 2 days I lost everything. all this happened in 7th month. hope that everything will be fine soon.

While I know you ladies are in pain and anguish few could understand right now...(sarahsteele, I read about your delievery and my heart goes out to you...), I would absolutley wait the minimum time your doctor is recommending. I lost a newphew (still birth), and the only thing that could fill that void for my sister was another baby immediately. But to keep you and your future, wonderful, healthy babies safe...wait until it is time. You need those scars to heal. Best wishes to both of you!

it is very difficult time of everyones life who lost their babies. I wish this will not happen to anybody else.

Hey sarahsteele, and manc, I went through the same thing! I had an emergency c section and lost my baby girl 10 hours later on June 15th 2007. :( I was excatly 24 weeks at that point. I was hoping I could conceive sooner than the 18-24 months that I've typically heard your suppossed to since I my body didn't carry to term. (I figure, since I didn't complete a whole 40 week pregnancy that my body will be ready again sooner) When I asked my doctor he told me to wait 3 months before being pregnant again. That seems soooo far away to me! I still have to wait 2 more months and 4 days to actually be pregnant again! I think I will start ttc 1 month ahead of that. I'm guessing it won't happen the first couple of trys, but it will make me feel better when we are able to try. I would love to talk to you guys, I know excatly what you are going through and I think it will be comforting and supportive to talk to someone who actually went through the same thing. hi i too had an emergency c section in feb in which i lost my first baby boy my gynec told me to ttc after 4 months but it is said that the earlier u conceive the more chances of miscarriages.....but let me tell you the fact that it is not necessary that you get pregnant the first month of ttc it takes its own time....so start..soon

thanks. it is very painful to heard of everyones loss. but hopefully everything will be allright soon. i think 3-4 months period is sufficient to ttc. i know for those who loss their babies this period is far. but asking ur dr. before ttc is better as our dr.knows us best (mentally & physically) Thanks for ur response.

hi, i went to my dr. 2 days back & she told me to wait for 3-4 months as c section scar needs that much time to heal perfectly. i am waiting for this period to pa__s fast & i can start ttc. thanks for everyones reply.

hi manc, ur dr advicesd the same as mine did ...see this time is hard to pa__s but still we had to cross it i took help of music and listened to whole lot of songs hindi and english u 2 take help of it...time will pa__sby as u had alreay pa__sed half of it half more to go...take care and feel free to drop message as i will be a message away from u

hi manc, i too had an emergency c section in feb in which i lost my first baby boy due to meuconium aspiration syndrome ..it was my first baby after 6 yrs of ttc with no complication neither in 6 yrs nor in 9 months my gynec told me to try after 4 months we decided to try after5 months ......but u know it takes its owntime and no body can help it out ....just have faith ingod we are not alone there are many other who have just started this time...and we have crossed half or are about reach out of it......keep praying everyday to god and ask your lost baby to come back soon....and i am sure like mine ur baby will also come back and bring much more happines then ever.
