did anyone wear a girdle after 1 wk post c-section...i was advised not to? any reason....it actuallly doesnt hurt as much w/ the girdle on.

I was given the opposite advice... I was given one by the hospital to wear if I needed it and when lifting more than 10 lbs. (my 3rd baby was OVER 10 lbs. at birth!). I never did wear it because it didn't fit, but I think it would have helped me.

I didn't wear one, But All it does is hold up your tummy because all the muscles are cut. I don't see anything wrong with accept for not letting you cut to bath. The cut need oxygen to help it heal better. (I think girdle is what I am thinking about :/)
