You know someone had a c-section when they have to hold a pillow on there stomach to cough or sneeze.

...when you're smiling ear-to-ear RIGHT after the surgery (yeah epidural!), and bawling your eyes out as soon as feeling returns...

These are really funny but my c-section wasn't bad at all. I had it at 4:30 one evening and by that night I was up walking and caring for my baby. I had them take out the epi so I could shower and I never felt any terrible pains just a little soreness!!

when you have to say your prayers before trying to get up!

When you start wearing granny gitch because your s_xy bikini briefs annoy your incision (just while it heals, thank goodness I've been able to pack the grannies away).

You know you had a c-section when...your husband states during surgery, "hey honey, they left somthing out..." (hillarious, everyone is a comedian when you are totally out of it!)

You know you had a c-section when... you now have a smiley face on your lower abdomen!

when you have been in labor 5 times with your baby and even when they can't stop labor 8 weeks early you will not let them cut up and down....yelling "Please don't give me an anchor!"

When you have two choices for b___stfeeding, and only one works because you can't lay on your side!!! :)

when the mere mention of the word "bikini" makes you laugh but want to cry at the same time. LOL Me at least!!

When you seriously consider installing the safety bars (like those in the hospital and wheelchair stalls) by your toilet at home.

Granted this one is pretty unique to me and my post-cesarean cluelessness lol (and it's more of a story), but... my 2nd baby (dd) got fluid in the lungs during her birth and ended up in NICU. Since I was b___stfeeding I only had a brief stay in recovery, then was put in my room and as soon as I could feel my legs (maybe 2-3 hours after surgery) I had to get up and out of bed, get cleaned up a little and get some undies and a pad on (TMI, sorry) and get in a wheelchair to go down to NICU to attempt to b___stfeed. Well, I was in a lot of pain and still had the catheter in and a pee bag to carry and an IV stand to contend with, so when I got to NICU and had to go over to the sink and do my scrub-in I was standing there completely unaware of the fact that my back... and BACKSIDE... were facing the NICU nurses station and my gown was open in the back for all to see! Lovely =(

As per Perl's thread... you know you had a c-section if you know what Steri strips are!
