Eggplant During Pregnancy

I heard women shouldn't eat eggplant while pregnant, is this true? if yes....why?

I think what you are talking about is the old wives tale that if you eat eggplant parmesan that it will induce natural labor. There are so many myths out there. I have heard from not getting pedicures because of a nerve in the heal all the way to rubbing salad dressing on your nipples. I wouldnt worry about not eating eggplant but if you are truely concerned about what or what not to eat, you might want to talk to your doc.
