Recently I found that I am pregnant. (5 weeks). For last 10 months I used to have fat free milk , yogurt, cheeze etc. I mean I used to take all milk product fat free. Still I am taking fat free milk for cereals and fat free yogurt. Is it ok. Or should I start to take normal milk? This is my first baby and i am alone so totally confused. Doctor is also ready to check me only after 8 weeks. So pl.advice.

i dunno - i dont take fat free (trim) anything. Studies have shown that they dont actually 'trim' anything and they add other c___p to it insted of fat. Like sweetner tablets, thoose do more bad then good. you may as well have the suger.

I wouldn’t worry too much about eating fat free dairy products. I use 1% milk, light cheese made with 2% milk, and I always eat FF yogurt (try the organic kind as there are no artificial sweeteners added). If you are underweight you may want to switch to a slightly higher fat %, but otherwise I really don’t see this as a problem. As a matter of fact I was reading some pregnancy recipes from pregnancyfit.com and they always called for skim milk and reduced fat cheese etc... I really don't think you need to worry about this, furthermore I would continue to use these items. As far as chemicals and sweeteners added to FF products, that is not the case with dairy products.

i wouldnt eat fat free just less fat because whatever your baby needs your body takes from itself so you dont want to cause any damage. remember less fat no fat free
