Hi i'm 30 5 2' and 185 pounds. I an over weight, and ttc. Jenny turned me away becasue I asked them what their program is if i'm pregnant....well my question is, if you start eating healthy and start controling your portions, is it healthy to lose weight while you are pregnant? it terrifies me that if i become pg now, i'll be over 200 pounds during my pg. Is there a diet that someones figured out for themselves that is helping them shed weight and eating enough for the baby? I'm open to suggestions. Thanks.

You can always eat healthy and exercise while pregnant but it's never advised to try to diet or anything like that during pregnancy. I would try losing weight, then ttc. You will feel a lot better when you're pregnant, take it from me. I'm your heigh tand have the same problems and went to a dietician before conceiving. It was the best choice I ever made. Good luck to you!

I have a few friends who started eating healthy and good portions while they were pregnant and lost a ton of weight but dieting isn't suggested during pregnancy. I agree though with Gena, losing weight first would be a better option and you'll have a more enjoyable pregnancy. Good luck!

They are protecting themselves against a lawsuit. Weight Watchers and all of the other ones would do the same. A doctor would suggest you try to lose the weight first before becoming pregnant. You can order Nutri System food over the internet and on QVC.
