No Cravings For It

I'm not craving heatlhy food like I used to. I'm craving more fast food, some fruit and cheese. To think of veggies makes me sick. I used to love veggies. My dr says to eat very healthy and to cheat with bad foods once in awhile, but that's highly immposible right now. Is anyone else going through the same thing? I feel guilty sometimes for not eating healthy...it's like a battle with myself.

I was in the SAME boat...Veggies just turned me off. I was having cravings for MacDonalds fries constantly! I'm 15 weeks now and still find it hard to eat those things. And I too feel guilty about it sometimes. Here's what I did to get back on track... Do you like salads? Like lettuce, and carrots, onions and dressing? Or just the lettuce works too LOL...Try that. My doc also mentioned trying to drink V8 Juice. I usually have a 4 ounce gla__s once or twice a day. I don't usually like V8, but that's why I only drink in it 4 ounce gla__ses. And when ever I go out to eat, I always try to get veggies, cooked or raw, with my meal. I find that the selection restaurants have is sometimes nicer than what we can buy and/or prepare at home. And because I was having those darned cravings for fries, my hubby suggested buying my own bag of fries and baking them in our oven instead of the deep fried version. Another is pickles. Dill or sweet, do you enjoy those? But trust me, somewhere down the road in your pregnancy you WILL crave veggies. I was on a veggie kick at the end of my first trimester. And for a while, that was ALL I would eat. Make sure you're taking a prenatal multi-vitamin, and talk to your doctor if you're still concerned. Good Luck.
