I am 30 weeks and I have not been taking my prenatal vitamins... is that bad? And If I start now would it make any difference?

well, id guess that if you are an EXTREMELY healthy eater, youd be better off, but Id really consider taking them. your baby is forming and growing and developing and vitamins are so important. the baby will take from you what it needs and that is a lot...the prenantals replenish what the baby needs so you are both healthy. Folic acid is extrememly important ( in prenatal vitamins) and aids in neural tube developement ( brain, spine etc) i was taking them as well as the prenatals a few months before i even started to try conceiving. im no dr., but there is a reason that women are told to take them....i was getting sick from mine, so my dr. told me to take flinstone vitamins....one in the a.m. and one in the p.m. plus a folic acid as well. good luck.
