I've read a lot about women debating on the safety of red rasberry teas or supplements. Just wanted to give my take on the subject. I read that it was safe and actually helpful in pregnancy so with my last pg. I took it morn and night. Well, I went on to m/c after a clear strong healthy heart beat was established (uncommon). Since then I have read that the herb is not recommended during the FIRST trimester at all on many many sites (although some popular sites still say it's safe) So I say don't touch it because it's just too risky! It's common to help women have a timely delivery. Think about it! If that's true, it must have properties that can influence the womb to deliver! I will use it, but only in my last month! I just wanted to share my opinion in hopes of saving your precious bfp! Mine is gone and I'll never know if it was the red rasberry or not. I do know that I wont take the chance with my new pg. period!!

but it should say clearly on the label to use it in your 3rd trimester only, well my bottle does. i am in my 3rd trimester now am just beginning to take it. i also took it in my last pregnancy and it did help me soften my cervix. its not suppose to help with labor pains, only to help soften your cervix.
